F:TLC on Mac - gets stuck at Barrow Fields!

Hi,

I just started playing Fable: The Lost chapters on my Macbook Pro (2.4 GHz, 2 GB memory, plenty of hard drive space, but OSX 10.4.?) and I love it. Only thing is, I'm on this Trader Escort quest and I make it to what I believe is the end, defeat this big monster that comes out of the ground and throws rocks and gives me a ruby, and then when I get the traders to follow me through the entrance to Barrow Fields the screen with the map saying Barrow Fields comes up and gets stuck there! I've tried pressing keys, clicking about, giving it 30 minutes to sit, but it's always stuck. All I can do is hit the power button. When the computer's back on, all I've got is the Autosave that puts me back at the beginning of the quest, or the hero save that I did (I've tried the quest 3 times and always get stuck there) with the loot but still at the beginning of the quest.

SO tl;dr How do I get my computer to NOT get stuck on the Barrow Fields loading page?

ETA: I've been able to complete other quests and move from other locations, just stuck at Barrow.
