Problems installing HotU on Vista

I've decided to play through NWN and its two expansions again. I've managed to install NWN and SoU without much trouble but everytime I try to install HotU I get the message

"An installation support file could not be installed. The system cannot find the file specified"

I've never ever had any trouble installing HotU before but this is the first time I've tried to install it on Vista. Also, on the computer I'm installing it, it uses E not D for the dvd drive. Could this be the problem?

Any help would be appreciated.

I dont think whatever drive would matter I installed on various drives with each disk and there was no problem...

I assume you have done the reinstall / install / wipe clean method? If not give it a try...etc is disks are dirty all common sense stuff im sure you have done but ill post it just incase lol

I had the same problem with Icewind Dale as it kept asking for disks and sadly I couldnt get around it so hopefully your not in the same boat as me for that issue if you want a secret method to get past it give me a private message and my secret might work

Thanks for the reply. I gave up in the end and just installed it on my old pc again, which still has XP
