Looking for game similar to DL
Heya!
My sister and I are looking for another game , similar to dungeon lords to play a little..
So what we want in the game is to be a RPG where you can level , just like DL , also it has to support LAN play for minimum 2 players
I've been looking around google bout found no good informations
Any info would be nice to have , thanks!

Diablo 2, maybe? Sure, it doesn't have the exactly same leveling system, but it also features lots of spells, melee weapons and skills, and characters also level up and learn new skills. Or you can wait until Dungeon Lords 2 comes out (although nobody knows when/if that will ever happen).

Hmm will check it out!
Also do you know why dungeon lord (v1.1) wont load the main menu with my new pc ( Athlon x2 Dualcore 4200+ 2,6GHz / 3 GB of DDR2 memory / ATI Radeon HD 2600 PRO ) ?
It starts the game , shows me few introducing videos then when it comes to main menu it just shows me those gates , but wont load nothing just picture ..
Then when i tab out i can hear the menu showing up , but then i cant go back into the game...

While Baldur's gate, diablo, IWD are good games they felt very different from DL.
The game I found that is similar (and much better) is Two Worlds. I am enjoying it immensely. I am afraid its not the sort of game that has insane replay value although you can differentiate your character quite a bit. I'm level 17 now and the game has gotten soooo easier now, but the first part was a challenge. The reason I don't think its very replayable is that its much more exciting when you are sort of wandering around than when you know 1 do quest A to get x 2 quest B to get Y....raise enough gold for Z. Of course I might try it with a straight mage, a light armored bowmen/thief, or full plate warrior (you need mostly str for that).

Right Speech has four aspects: 1. Not lying, but speaking the truth, 2. Avoiding rude and coarse words, but using gentle speech beneficial to the listener, 3. Not slandering, but promoting friendliness and unity, 4. Avoiding frivolous speech, but saying only what is appropriate and beneficial.

I found alot of DL was very similar to Asheron's Call, which is an online mmorpg. It's like 8 years old and the graphics aren't great, but it's still around and being updated every month.
Two things really make it similar: The hack and slash style of fighting sometimes dozens of things at a time (one thing I really love about DL) and the way you customize your character. AC is like DL in your level doesn't matter as much as where you're spending your xp. The loot system in AC is a heck of alot better though, that's my main complaint about DL =P
