Okay, NOW I'm scared for my household's safety!

This article, which I first saw on the local news channel, turned not only my head, but my mother's as well. Granted, the public of the ENTIRE STATE'S up in arms over this.

This guy used to live in my neighborhood, though not TOO close to my house. All I'm hoping is either a) he doesn't come back to live - even supervised - in my hometown, or b) he doesn't even come back to where his former household was PERIOD.

Granted, I am likely overreacting, but - pun somewhat intended - this hits close to home. :speech:

Middletown's mayor says he's opposed to releasing Messenger into his community. He learned last year Messenger had made dozens of supervised visits to a local library, shops and other places.
Oh dear god he's gonna hijack the town with the all important towel and a few magic wands.
Listen up maggots, Mr. Popo's 'bout to teach you the pecking order.

wow galuf, i truly hope that they dont release him back to his old community. that would be such a setup to have him relapse, being in the same area. if they decide to release him... i hope its in a different state completely!
even tho this happened back in 1998.... why does it seem that i hear so much about guys beating/killing their pregnant women? so sad and scary.
:D Smile.... That way they wont know what your thinking :p
I can't really tell if I can't read that because I'm too drunk or because you are. :p
Yeah, it's a growing trend, I swear.

I remember vaguely hearing about this very incident when it happened, and my parents (namely my mom) wanted me to keep more around the house if I wasn't in school, and knowing myself back then, I did anyways.

You hit my major concern on the head, though: reintegration into this very small town and relapsing. It can happen, or it might not. Still, I'd hoping not to get into that risk. And to think, yesterday, some other whacko threatened to beat me down after he thought I cut him off in traffic.
