So I have this quest now from Mae'var to steal something in the Temple District. However I waited with this one and instead went with Korgan to find his book. I was confronted by Bodhi and decided to side with her against the Shadow Theives. I am now wondering if I still can get Edwin, or do I have to work with the thieves? I've only got Edwin by working with these guys, so I'm not sure if I dare join Bodhi ;p
/Thanks in advance, Jen.

Please put a SPOILER tag in the title of a thread like this, just as the sticky thread at the top of the forum requests. I'll do this one for you, but in the future, you'll need to do your own. Or your threads will mysteriously vanish.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.
It is absolutely possible to join Edwin, but you have to complete Mae'var's quest before siding with Bodhi. Afterwards, I think, it is impossible.
Note: This quest is a side-quest, it has nothing to do with the story line, so it can be fulfilled in chapter 2 without any trouble.

Bodhi's side is more profitable if you need money or some nice gear, because only this way you can get the Rifthome Axe +3(the best throwing weapon in SoA IMHO) and the Djinni ring(not very valuable, but still, a nice item). Do remember to clear all of the Thieves' areas and shops, because they'll be unavailable later.
Aran's side is more profitable if you need xp, since the vampires give a lot more xp when slain than those puny thieves.

As soon as you sided with Bodhi, you closed off all available Thieves Guild quests. So if you want to pick up Edwin, you have to reload the saved game before you committed to Bodhi. You can always choose to align yourself with her after you've dealt with Mae'var and accepted Edwin into your ranks.Jennifer wrote:So I should re-load then? Bodhi has just told me that "her doors are open", and gave me a mission in the docks. But could I just wait with this one and finnish Mae'vars quests first then?
