Gain and lose stat points! (SPOILERS)

Is there some place in the game, where your hero will gain 1 point and lose another point in his stats?

I think this will happen in a dream world or something but I canøt remember exacctly.

Can anybody confirm this?

This isn't a spoiler, but part of the game rules: if you have a familiar and it dies, then your character suffers a permanent loss of one point to his/her Constitution. Not a specific place, but still, important to bear in mind if you've discovered you lost that point.

Yeah, you have to give up a stat point to enter Candlekeep in a dream.

You can also gain and lose points in hell, but that isn't in a dream.

gain them throguh the deck of many things and the machine in WK

You can also lose them with the machine in WK (Lum's) and through an exploit by so doing you can also gain them (And how!)
