Importing Portraits

Hello. I want to include a bunch of the dizzying assortment of BG2 portraits out there as options. What Folder do I need to put the portraits in. i have them in the "Portraits" folder, but they are not an option on the character generation - so they are in the wrong place apparently.

They are in "BG II - The SoA" - "Portraits".

Try it without the capital (portraits).

You need to follow the instructions in the readme file exactly.
The pictures ave to be named correctly and they need to be in the correct format and the correct size etc.

Please explain. I read the Readme file (from the main folder "BG II- The Shadows of Amn") and it does not detail what to do.

Is it as simple as pasting the pictures into the correct folder for the game to access the pictures?

No, you have to resize the pictures.

Fixed it

Actually, I had to find out how to access the picture(s). This site I found, Death Jester's Baldur's Gate Portraits

was pretty good and had some cool portraits.
