Assassinations Question

Post by Jennifer »

Hello again

I got this note from someone in The Copper Coronet: "If you visit the Five Flagons Inn tonight, you might hear things ..." Know which one?

But nothing happens there really, some rogue-like guy walks around and asks me to bugger off ... "Go see the play" or something ...

I didn't do this the first night as the note says, so maybe I'm too late then?

Five Flagons Inn is the one in the bridge district I recall?

Check the basement of that inn, you should find something there. The date or time should not really matter.

Edit:

I apologise for wrong information. The people you are looking for are indeed on the upper floor not the basement.

I've checked the 2nd floor, aswell as the basement but there's none there except for that rogue-ish fella, who asks me to bugger off. I am there at night, and I've been standing still, waiting for something to happen, but nothing happens ... Checked the rooms aswell, empty ... Well, there's a fat man with a sleeping girl in one room.

Further suggestions?

You should load the earliest save where you first get the note from bernard in the afternoon. Then go to the inn in the night and go to the 2nd floor. After you get there go past the thief, in between the two wagons. Go through there and you will find her in the top corner. Hope this helps.

This thread is confusing the hell out of me if no one else. I get the distinct impression that at least two of the posters are talking about completely different events/quests. Any chance of giving us more details Jennifer? Like how you got the note and who from?

Assassinations is one of my favorite quest mods. Anyway, the person you need to speak to is Lynn, she's on the top floor of the Five Flagons Inn and she'll only talk to the main character if the rest of the party is outside of the room she's in.

Leave your party at the top of the stairs and only bring the main character to Lynn, in the far northeastern corner past the wagons. It's all very *hush hush, say no more* which I love.

You get the note from Bernard the innkeeper of the Copper Coronet after sleeping there the first time....this is, of course, provided you have Assassinations installed.

The other (misleading) people in this thread are talking about the quest to save Haerdalis, a quest which is part of the regular game and in no way related to Assassinations.

Thanks, this solved it :)
