"Summon Scamp" spell issues

Post by lifeishell91 »

I've been playing Oblivion now for quite a while, and for the entire time I've known the Summon Scamp spell to be a Journeyman level spell, i.e. Conjuration needs to be at lvl. 50. But here on the wiki it says that Summon Scamp is an apprentice level spell, i.e. Conjuration only needs to be at lvl. 25.

Is there anyway I can fix this on the console? Thanks.

Well the wicki is right, Summon Scamp, like Summon Skeleton and Summon Zombie is an Apprentice spell.

I don't believe you can change the level of a spell using the console, and you shouldn't need to anyway. The vanilla ESM comes with it set as an apprentice level spell, heck the ID for the spell is StandardSummonScampApprentice!!! If you are getting messages that you need 50 points in conjuration then you have either a corrupted game, or more likely, a screwed up mod installed.

Once you locate the rogue mod you can change the setting in the constructions set.

Yeah yeah, but I didn't want to resort to that.

Btw, I found the rogue mod. It was called "Adventurers"-something which changes many things, like the cost of spells and the values of objects.
