Prestige Class and Feats

Simple Question: Do you get Feats from Leveling up your Prestige Class, or not.

You get feats based on character level, not class level. So if you had 5 levels of one class and 1 level of a Prestige class (making you 6th level), like normal you'll receive a feat for being sixth level.

Some prestige classes grant abilities which are handled by the game system as feats (the appear there in your character sheet). For example Dark Blessing a Blackguard feat which is granted at BG3 gives you saving throw bonus and is really a class power but it is listed as a feat.

As Siberys says the regular feat choices are according to your character level (the sum of your individual classes) and grants a feat at CL 1,3,6,9,12,15,18,21,23,25,27,29
Right Speech has four aspects: 1. Not lying, but speaking the truth, 2. Avoiding rude and coarse words, but using gentle speech beneficial to the listener, 3. Not slandering, but promoting friendliness and unity, 4. Avoiding frivolous speech, but saying only what is appropriate and beneficial.

@Claudius, is this what it is for NWN2? Cause standard 3.5 rules go 21, 24, 27, 30.

It's written in the MotB manual that epic characters get a feat every second level, instead of one every third like in 3.5.
