Is one level of Flurry worth it?

Post by Klorox »

I'm trying to flesh out my Scoundrel 7/Guardian build, and I'm considering the first level of Flurry after maxing out Critical Strike.

My thinking is that since you get Sneak Attack damage added to stunned enemies, I should activate Flurry and get an extra Sneak Attack in there.

Is this over-thinking the situation? I will probably kill anything that's stunned anyway since I max out the Speed Powers ASAP and use Two Weapon Fighting style.

So, is the first Flurry even worth it?

TIA

One level? In my opinion, no. The drawbacks are considerable both for accuracy of attack, and defense. It really shines at the second or third level. I'd either suggest avoiding it altogether, or going the entire length.

With the accuracy and defense drawbacks, I suggest if you only have one level of flurry you only use it when enemies are stunned. I always maxed out flurry and speed, but next time I'm gonna try power or critical strike.

My guy tends to miss alot using Furry, but this last time it hit the stuned enemy. I guess I need more accuracy for my charator.

That was going to be my plan. I was just going to take 1 level of Flurry to get an extra 4d6 Sneak Attack damage on a Stunned opponent. I don't think it's all that important though, once an enemy of mine is stunned, he's pretty much dead anyway.

I've decided to either go with 3 levels of Flurry or none.
