Go Castor Go!
Glad to see the PC is fixed.
Great episode. Although i wonder why the ShadowPack gave castor a sword when they send him into the dungeon.

Dont awnser he probally found it (with 40 arrows, 40 bullets, 40 darts and 40 bolts like there are in the start of every dungeon)
I do not have the touch, nor do I have the power.

Oh... my... goodness...
Cute. :D Although I'm surprised our favorite thief was competent enough in battle when he tried to be. Guess those skeletons are retreads. ;)
Competent enough in battle?!

How about competent enough to kick arse! :D

Castor is actually not bad in a fight, provided he doesn't wimp out and flee. :p

It's always fun drawing extreme facial expressions (whether it's Castor getting stabbed in the ass, Khaggoth struggling to hold up a submarine, or whatever). :D

The PC isn't fixed, I just got a new one ;) (well technically it's a used one, but it's still newer than my old PC).

Castor already had the sword on him, since it's the same one he always uses. The Pack didn't bother disarming him since they knew there was no way he was going to fight his way past them.

Damn straight! Though a pair of skeleton shouldn't really be much of a challenge for a character around level 4 or 5.
Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

He reminds me a lot of a younger, far better looking Bob Hope. You have give him good wisecracks. I hope he gets Tegan, though the idea of offspring mixing the mindset of those two gives me the jitters. :D

More than the offspring of a Half-Orc and a Half-Elf?

Wow, Bob Hope. High praise. :) Unless of course you hate Bob Hope, which I don't, but I'm sure there's somebody out there who does.

I've actually done some sketches of what the spawn of Castor and Teagan might look like over on the DCI board (for kicks, not necessarily hinting at some reeeaaaallllllly long and involved plot thread I intend to explore). Cute kid, but unfortunately she seems to take after her father in character. :o :D

Brrrrrr! That issue featured a chilling look into what might be. :( :p

Oh, the latest issue is up.

Uh, where exactly? I searched the DCI website, the forum, and all that hoo-hah. WHERE IS IT?

Hmmm.... Maybe it was before the forum update (which wiped out old material). I'm sure I have a copy somewhere on my hard drive though (hell, I can always draw a new one too). ;)

Oooh. Babe. :D

It would be funny as hell if everybody's favorite cleric showed up by herself at some future point, tracking the gang remorselessly, attempting to kill them until it became clear that she was pregnant. Might be nice seeing her beat up the thief.

LOL :D And you thought dealing with monsters, booby traps, and the undead was bad, imagine dealing with a knocked up Teagan. Castor would probably take the Homer Simpson approach: "You’re pregnant?! AAAAAAAHHHH!!!" *Tears hair out and runs around the room screaming* :D

Now all we need is to see the offspring of Durngrim and a human and we'd be all set. ;)

Errr, J/K. :p

A half human/half dwarf? Wouldn't that be Danny Devito? :p (Hell, any short hairy dude would fit the profile). :D

Naw, I'd think Metallica's current bassist, Robert Trujilo (sp?), looks most like a half-dwarf. Being somewhat short w/ a braided beard that would pretty much fit the Half-Human/Half-Dwarf status quo. ;)

A surprising number of roadies also fit that description. You don't think...? Nah. Couldn't be. Er, could it?

No, rock band roadies. Definitely an unexplored species.

Yes, I knew you were talking about roadies. It sounded as if you thought they were Half-Dwarves or some-such.

But they are. It's been common knowledge for hundreds of years that when the mines closed down in Central and Eastern Europe, the original dwarven race moved West.

Barry Manilow, on the other hand, is a kobold.

Agreed. Perhaps Ozzy Osbourne's guitarist Zakk Wylde has some Giant blood in him?
