Well, here's some Bob Dylan for ya'll (This is from memory, so please excuse it if I forget some of the words)
Well I don't know why I came here tonight,
I got the feelin' that somthing ain't rigt,
I'm so scared in case I fall off my chair,
and I'm wonderin' how I'll get down the stairs,
Clowns to the left of me, Jokers to the right, here I am,
Stuck in the Middle with you
Yes I'm, stuck in the middle with you,
and I'm wondering what it is I should do,
it's so hard to keep this smile from my face,
............................................all over the place,
Clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right, here I am,
Stuck in the middle with you
Well, you started off with nothin',
and you're proud that you're a self made man,
and your family all come crawlin',
slap you on the back and say
please, please,
Try to make some sence of it all,
But I can see it makes no sence at all,
Is it cool to go to sleep on the floor?
'cause, i don't think that I can take any more,
clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right, Here I am
Stuck in the middle with you

Rawhide!
Rollin', rollin', rollin'

Rain and wind and weather,
Hale bent for leather,
Wishin' my girl was by my side,
All the things I'm missin',
Good ......, love and kissin'
are waiting at the end of my ride
Move 'em on,
Head 'em up,
Head 'em up,
Move 'em on,
Move 'em on,
Head 'em up,
Rawhide!
Cut 'em out!
Ride 'em in!
Ride 'em in!
Cut 'em out!
Cut 'em out!
Ride 'em in, Rawhide!
Keep movin', movin', movin'
Though thy're disaproven'
Keep them doggies movin',

Don't try to understand 'em,
Just rope 'em, ..... and brand 'em
Soon We''l be livin' high and wide,
My hearts calculatin',
My true love will be waitin',
Be waitin' at the end of my ride,
Move 'em on,
Head 'em up,

Move 'em on,
Move 'em on,
Head 'em up,
Rawhide!
Cut 'em out!
Ride 'em in!

@Morlock I didn't know Stuck in the Middle With You was by Dylan...
Home Of The Brave - Spiritualized
I don't even feel it
But Lord how I need it
When I'm not with her
I'm not all myself
Sometimes have my breakfast right
Off of a mirror
And sometimes I have it
Right out of a bottle
Come on
I'm gonna rip it up
Tear it out
Gotta get it off of my soul
I don't even miss you
But that's 'cause I'm ****ed up
And sure when it wears off
Then I will be hurting
And just 'cause the sun shines
When you're out of my time
And just 'cause I feel bad
And feel good to fly high
Come on
Come on
I'm gonna rip it up
Tear it out
Gotta get you off of my soul

The Kinks are the ONLY band!
A picturesque little ballad from Ray Davies and The Kinks:
Village Green
Out in the country,
Far from all the soot and noise of the city,
There's a village green.
It's been a long time
Since I last set eyes on the church with the steeple
Down by the village green.
'Twas there I met a girl called Daisy
And kissed her by the old oak tree.
Although I loved my Daisy, I saw fame,
And so I left the village green.
I miss the village green,
And all the simple people.
I miss the village green,
The church, the clock, the steeple.
I miss the morning dew, fresh air and Sunday school.
And now all the houses
Are rare antiquities.
American tourists flock to see the village green.
They snap their photographs and say "Gawd darn it,
Isn't it a pretty scene?"
And Daisy's married Tom the grocer boy,
And now he owns a grocery.
I miss the village green,
And all the simple people.
I miss the village green,
The church, the clock, the steeple.
I miss the morning dew, fresh air and Sunday school.
And I will return there,
And I'll and Daisy,
And we'll sip tea, laugh,
And talk about the village green.
We will laugh and talk about the village green.
Ah! Lovely!

@DM ok, just for you...
Waterloo Sunset - The Kinks
Dirty old river, must you keep rolling
Flowing into the night
People so busy, makes me feel dizzy
Taxi light shines so bright
But I don't need no friends
As long as I gaze on Waterloo sunset
I am in paradise
Every day I look at the world from my window
But chilly, chilly is the evening time
Waterloo sunset's fine
Terry meets Julie, Waterloo Station
Every Friday night
But I am so lazy, don't want to wander
I stay at home at night
But I don't feel afraid
As long as I gaze on Waterloo sunset
I am in paradise
Every day I look at the world from my window
But chilly, chilly is the evening time
Waterloo sunset's fine
Millions of people swarming like flies 'round Waterloo underground
But Terry and Julie cross over the river
Where they feel safe and sound
And the don't need no friends
As long as they gaze on Waterloo sunset
They are in paradise
Waterloo sunset's fine

Hellion
W.A.S.P.
Hell-hound, hot leather on your legs
That smokin powder keg you're riding on is hell-bound
And you're the one they claim
It's going down in flames
You're riding Hades' rails (Hellion)
Hellion, The devil's Hellion child
Hellion, will never have to die
Wild child, you're sweatin' and you're stoned
That alcohol you downed makes you crazy-
All night, you damn the hurt and pain
And drink the devils rain
It's screaming out your name
Hellion, The devil's Hellion child
Hellion, will never have to die
The Gods you worship are steel
At the altar of rock 'n' roll you kneel
A slave who forever rocks
Is chained in the devil's locks
And slain by the bloody axe I wail
Hellion, The devil's Hellion child
Hellion, will never have to die

From the Queen Of The Damned soundtrack
The Deftones
I've watched you change
Into a fly
I looked away
You were on fire
I watched a change
In you
It's like you never
Had wings
Now you feel
So Alive
I've watched you change
I took you home
Set you on the glass
I pulled off your wings
Then I laughed
I watched a change
In you
It's like you never
Had wings
Now you feel
So alive
I've watched you change
It's like you never
Had wings ahhh ahh ahhh
I look at the cross
Then I look away
Give you the lungs to
Blow me away
I've watched a change
In you
It's like you never
Had wings
Now you feel
So Alive
I've watched you change.
Now you feel Alive
You Feel Alive
I've watched you change
It's like you never
Had wings ahhh ahh ahhh

the Who's
Won't Get Fooled Again
We'll be fighting in the streets
With our children at our feet
And the morals that they worship will be gone
And the men who spurred us on
Sit in judgement of all wrong
They decide and the shotgun sings the song
I'll tip my hat to the new constitution
Take a bow for the new revolution
Smile and grin at the change all around
Pick up my guitar and play
Just like yesterday
Then I'll get on my knees and pray
We don't get fooled again
The change, it had to come
We knew it all along
We were liberated from the fold, that's all
And the world looks just the same
And history ain't changed
'Cause the banners, they are flown in the next war
I'll tip my hat to the new constitution
Take a bow for the new revolution
Smile and grin at the change all around
Pick up my guitar and play
Just like yesterday
Then I'll get on my knees and pray
We don't get fooled again
No, no!
I'll move myself and my family aside
If we happen to be left half alive
I'll get all my papers and smile at the sky
Though I know that the hypnotized never lie
Do ya?
There's nothing in the streets
Looks any different to me
And the slogans are replaced, by-the-bye
And the parting on the left
Are now parting on the right
And the beards have all grown longer overnight
I'll tip my hat to the new constitution
Take a bow for the new revolution
Smile and grin at the change all around
Pick up my guitar and play
Just like yesterday
Then I'll get on my knees and pray
We don't get fooled again
Don't get fooled again
No, no!
Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!
Meet the new boss
Same as the old boss

This is, IMO the best George Harrison out there (as a solo artist).
It means a lot to me, especialy after his passing.
Here comes the sun,
Here comes the sun, I say,
It's all right
Little Darlin',
it's been a long, poor, lonely winter
Little Darlin',
it seems like years since it's been here,
Here comes the sun,
Here comes the sun, I say,
It's all right
Little Darlin',
the smiles you turn into the faces,
Little Darlin',
it seems like years since it's been here,
Here comes the sun,
Here comes the sun, I say,
It's all right
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes,
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes,
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes,
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes,
Little Darlin',
I feel the ice is slowely melting
Little Darlin',
It seems like years since it's been clear,
Here comes the sun,
Here comes the sun, I say,
It's all right
Here comes the sun,
Here comes the sun, I say,
It's all right,
It's all right

Well, I'm not a big fan, but here's what I happen to be listening to. BTW, for all the Pulp Fiction fans, I'm a Beatles man, not an Elvis man.
Bright light city gonna set my soul,
Gonna set my soul on fire,
Got a whole lot a mony that's ready to burn,
So, get those stakes up higher,
There's a thousand pretty women waiting out there,
They're all livin', the devil may care,
I'm just a devil with love to spare, so,
VIVA LOS VEGAS!
VIVA LOS VEGAS!
How I wish that there were more
than 24 hours in the day,
Even if there were 40 more,
I wouldn't sleep a minute away,
There's BlackJack and Poker and the Roullete wheel,
A fortune won and lost on every deal,
All you need to score is a nerve of steel,
VIVA LOS VEGAS!
VIVA LOS VEGAS!
Viva Los Vegas,
when your neon flashin',
And your one armed bandit scrachin',
almost holds down the drain
Viva Los Vegas,
turnin' day into night time,
turnin' night into day time,
If you see it once, you'll never be the same again!
I'm gonna keep on the run,
I'm gonna have me some fun,
If it costs me my very last dime,
If I wind up broke,
Well I'll always remeber,
that I had a swingin' time
I'm gonna give it everything I got,
Lady Luck, please let the dice stay hot,
Let me shoot a seven with every shot,
VIVA LOS VEGAS!
VIVA LOS VEGAS!
VIVA LOS VEGAS!
VIVA, VIVA, LOS VEGAS!

Really? I always thought he released it after they broke up!
Well, I don't know if he wrote it, but him singing it alone is the best version I've ever heard of it.

Since there seems to be a bit of depression around at the moment...
SYM is a great support group... *group hug*
So, this is dedicated to Aegis and Chanak...
Lean On Me
Sometimes in our lives
We all have pain
We all have sorrow
But, if we are wise
We know that there's
Always tomorrow
Lean on me
When you're not strong
I'll be your friend
I'll help you carry on
For it won't be long
Till I'm gonna need
Somebody to lean on
Please swallow your pride
If I have things
You need to borrow
For no one can fill
Those of your needs
That you won't let show
You just call on me brother
When you need a hand
We all need somebody to lean on
I just might have a problem
That you'll understand
We all need somebody to lean on
Lean on me
When you're not strong
I'll be your friend
I'll help you carry on
For it won't be long
Till I'm gonna need
Somebody to lean on
You just call on me brother
When you need a hand
We all need somebody to lean on
I just might have a problem
That you'll understand
We all need somebody to lean on
If there is a load
You have to bear
That you can't carry
I'm right up the road
I'll share your load
If you just call me
Call me if you need a friend
Call me

Eerhardt, I'd just like to voice my opinion that Rollin' is the worst song that Limp Bizkit have ever, and that's saying something
Here's a true American cruising down the highway track - stick it on the car stereo as loud as you can, and sing your heart out:
Steppenwolf:
Born To Be Wild
Get your motor runnin'
Head out on the highway
Lookin' for adventure
And whatever comes our way
Yeah Darlin' go make it happen
Take the world in a love embrace
Fire all of your guns at once
And explode into space
I like smoke and lightning
Heavy metal thunder
Racin' with the wind
And the feelin' that I'm under
Yeah Darlin' go make it happen
Take the world in a love embrace
Fire all of your guns at once
And explode into space
Like a true nature's child
We were born, born to be wild
We can climb so high
I never wanna die
Born to be wild
Born to be wild

Waterloo Sunset - The Kinks
Lovely!
This one is great, too!
SUNNY AFTERNOON
The tax man's taken all my dough,
And left me in my stately home,
Lazing on a sunny afternoon.
And I can't sail my yacht,
He's taken everything I've got,
All I've got's this sunny afternoon.
Save me, save me, save me from this squeeze.
I got a big fat mama trying to break me.
And I love to live so pleasantly,
Live this life of luxury,
Lazing on a sunny afternoon.
In the summertime
In the summertime
In the summertime
My girlfriend's run off with my car,
And gone back to her ma and pa,
Telling tales of drunkenness and cruelty.
Now I'm sitting here,
Sipping at my ice cold beer,
Lazing on a sunny afternoon.
Help me, help me, help me sail away,
Well give me two good reasons why I oughta stay.
'Cause I love to live so pleasantly,
Live this life of luxury,
Lazing on a sunny afternoon.
In the summertime
In the summertime
In the summertime
Ah, save me, save me, save me from this squeeze.
I got a big fat mama trying to break me.
And I love to live so pleasantly,
Live this life of luxury,
Lazing on a sunny afternoon.
In the summertime
In the summertime
