You know, when I think about those "good old days" I talked about in my previous post, and I think about the people from then, and the people from now ... I tend to see two current members who really have some of that proper SYM outlook/attitude: Bloodstalker and RandomThug.

If SYM needs saving, are they our saviors?

Nope, not dying - hibernating. Summer is always a bit slow - only Australians come here this time of year

Eerhardt's gone, Beldin's gone. It's just not as much fun here without my 2 old partners in crime... Tam and Georgeous aren't around that much, either, and as a result most of my old crowd has, one way or another, disappeared.
As for me, the reason I'm not around much is because I don't get much access to the internet normally, and RL is keeping me occupied too.

Is SYM dead? No, but it seems to me each time I check in that it's slowly heading that way. It's sad, but it's the way things seem to be. I had a great time here and met a lot of great people, however all things come to an end.

That's a decent point, it's like in my current job, everything is kind of grinding to a slow period which we get every year, it's due to everyone being on holiday or just outside enjoying the sun.

Yeah, maybe some cool people are yet to come into GameBanshee. There's always a new generation of funny people to follow the last.

Thats the same reason for me too, thankfully this sudden bout of rainy weather means I can head off to find an internet ready PC and spam for an hour or two
