I may change his level. He does seem a bit powerful. Then again, not many people will fight him and if they do it's their tough luck.

Another question for the community.

Morag Tong Guildhall and thieves' guild? Or is that a bit too much. They would offer quests but only a few would go out of the city. Maybe the Morag Tong would be part of a quest where you need someone killed. You are arch-magister after after all and you should have such tools at your disposal.

If you're really going for that kind of expansion ML, why not consider the Cammona Tong instead? As the MT is virtually controlled by House Hlaalu, why shouldn't it's rival house try taking over the MT's rival faction and going into competition?

Do you mean CT? I was under the impression that the CT had considerable weight over Hlaalu, not the other way around.

@ML - I'd get dialogue sorted for the stuff you have first, then look into expanding it after play-testing. I'd prefer immersing to big any day :)

IT is the other way round. Cammona Tong is secretly funded/governed by the
Spoiler
Grandmaster of house Hlaau.
If you're Telvanni he'll still be in charge of the CT.

Yeah, but
Spoiler
Orvas Dren is also the head of the CT
, and only he and 2 others are CT - most of the other members of the council aren't involved with the CT.

In fact, the journal entry (sourced from UESP) states that
Spoiler
"Duke Dren told me that I must win control of the Camonna Tong from his brother Orvas Dren before I can be the Grandmaster of House Hlaalu in anything other than name only."
I assume this is because
Spoiler
Orvas Dren controls Velanda Omani and Nevena Ules, and so can sway the council easily.

Just my take.

Well disregarding who has the best leverage I'd prefer Morag Tong. The CT are too thuggish in my opinion.

Just want to publicly thank Greg for the work he's done on some dialogue. Much appreciated.

Depending on if I get any games for my Birthday or Christmas, I'll keep working hard on this and I aim to release around may.

While I can't do any more just now, if you write any, I can check it over and make suggestions. :)

The Brown book isn't finished yet. The council agendas will be rewritten plus the year will be recalculated using a fancy script.

EDIT: I also think I'm going to go through and edit my posts giving one word progress reports on how my ideas are developing.

Those screenies are enough to wet my appetite (again). Is that contraption in the mines actually working?

At the moment it's just to look at and will most probably stay like that. I just like playing around with ropes.

I think, as I reach the one year mark, that it would be a good time to build up a solid quest line. Any ideas are welcome as long as it's lore abiding. Be a bit loose if you wish but nothing like house Telvanni conquers the whole of Vvardenfell.

There will be two quest lines. One goes up and the other down. There'll be various times where a catchup will be necessary so you can't get to far ahead in the other.

The excavation of the dungeon ends with a Battle with Lord Uvirith in his tomb and the growth on the surface will end with a battle with an opposing Magister on the top of your tower. There'll be some branches like the mercenary/vampire companion. Quests will reward intelligent players for example; the end battle with Uvirith will require certain information to be gathered from a recommended book and/or characters.

If you have any questions about my already existing plans just leave a post.

I have a question. How done are you? Like a percentage.

by Magelord648
The answer to that is it'll be finished when it's finished. At the this stage everything is fluctuating and therefore there are no percentages or guesses that can be made.

The more people that answer the questions though, the quicker I can finish.

Which questions?

Feel free to PM me if you want to bounce some ideas around, or if you want me to look over some dialogue.

Any questions that I've asked. If I haven't put my foot down on an answer the question is still answerable no matter how long ago I asked it.

I don't know if I mentioned it but I've got a thread running over at Fliggerty's, (he's a scripting genius) and some people are giving their ideas. If you'd like to take a peek and make comments on anything mentioned either here or there I'd be most grateful.

Hopefully more screenshots soon.
