Hmm, I'm hoping this is alright, given that we've been allowed to discuss a certain subject. If not, I'll remove it and replace it with something else. :o Regardless, I like this song, not for the fact it involves a drug, or sex, but it is a perfect example of a former relationship I had if you remove the drug and replace it with writing and drawing. Odd, I know, but it worked on and off for years.
"Get Stoned" by Hinder

Just hear me out
If it's not perfect I'll perfect it till my heart explodes
I highly doubt
I can make it through another of your episodes
Lashing out
One of the petty moves you pull before you lose control
You wear me out
But it's all right now
Lets go home and get stoned
We could end up makin love instead of misery
Go home and get stoned
Cause the sex is so much better when you're mad at me
You wear me out (We could end up making love instead of misery)
But it's all right now
Without a doubt
The break up is worth the make up sex you're givin me
Lets hash it out
Cause your <expletive deleted> and your yellin don't mean anything
Don't count me out
I can handle all the baggage that you're carrying
You wear me out
But it's all right now
Let's go home and get stoned
We could end up makin love instead of misery
Go home and get stoned
Cause the sex is so much better when you're mad at me
You wear me out (We could end up makin love instead of misery)
But it's alright now
Lets go home and get stoned
We could end up makin love instead of misery
Go home and get stoned
Cause the sex is so much better when you're mad at me
Go home and get stoned
We could end up making love instead of misery
Go home and get stoned
Cause the sex is so much better when you're mad at me
You wear me out
(We could end up makin love instead of misery)
But it's all right now
(Cause the sex is so much better when you're mad at me)
Lets go home and get stoned
Lets go home and get stoned
Lets go home and get stoned
Lets go home and get stoned

Hmmm and here I always found writing to be more tiring than arousing, but hey if it works for you then I sure want to try it... Writing: another patented Mag secret :D .

Girls love what I write about them. Apparently, the little details count. ;) Hence, the push to be a writer from my SO's. Although, there really is a very limited market for it outside the online market.

So this isn't spam, well, here's another song from the same album, with regards to the same relationship. :o Meh, too many relationships in the past few years.

"Bliss (I Don't Wanna Know)" by Hinder

(I don't wanna know)
(I don't wanna know)
(I don't wanna know)
(I don't wanna know)
I'll go ahead and pour myself a drink
I really couldn't care less what you think
Well I don't have to listen now
Live this day down
If I can't feel a thing
You might as well save your goodbyes
We can give this train wreck one last ride
I'm gonna have to listen now
Live this day down
If I don't make things right
I'll tell you one last time

I don't wanna know it's over
So save your goodbye kiss
I don't wanna know it's over
Cause ignorance is bliss
I can hardly see
What's in front of me
Cause the vodka's running on empty
I can't stay sober
If it's over
(I don't wanna know)
(I don't wanna know)
(I don't wanna know)
So save your goodbye kiss
(I don't wanna know)
(I don't wanna know)
(I don't wanna know)

I woke up with a heartbeat in my head
I reached for the bottle by the bed
I saw your side was not slept in
Cold sheets again
Remind me of what you said
We need to take a break for a while
It's been so long since I smiled
I don't wanna listen now
Live this day down
With you so drunk and high
So I'll say goodbye

I don't wanna know it's over
So save your goodbye kiss
I don't want to know it's over
Cause ignorance is bliss
I can hardly see
What's in front of me
Cause the vodka's running on empty
I can't stay sober
If it's over

I don't wanna know it's over
So save your goodbye kiss
I don't wanna know it's over
Cause ignorance is bliss
Now I know I can't stay sober
Cause you left me here like this
I don't wanna know
(I don't wanna know)
(I don't wanna know)
(I don't wanna know)
So save your goodbye kiss
(I don't wanna know)
(I don't wanna know)
(I don't wanna know)
Cause ignorance is bliss
I can hardly see
What's in front of me
Cause the vodka's running on empty
I can't stay sober
If it's over
If it's over
I don't wanna know
If it's over
If it's over
I don't wanna know

Magrus might like this. Or maybe not :)

For The Sake of the Song

Why does she sing her sad songs for me, I'm not the one
To tenderly bring her soft sympathy, I've just begun
To see my way clear and it's plain if I stop I will fall
I can lay down a tear for her pain, just a tear and that's all
What does she want me to do
She says that she knows that moments are rare
I suppose that it's true
Then on she goes to say I don't care and she knows that I do
Maybe she just has to sing for the sake of the song
Who do I think that I am to decide that she's wrong

She'd like to think that I'm cruel but she knows that's a lie for I would be
No more than a tool if I allowed her to cry all over me
My sorrow is real even though I can't change my plans
If she could see how I feel then I know that she'd understand
Does she actually think I'm to blame
Does she really believe that some word of mine
Could relieve all her pain
Can't she see that she grieves just because she's been blindly deceived
By her shame
Maybe she just has to sing for the sake of the song
Who do I think that I am to decide that she's wrong

Nothin's what it seems, maybe she'll start someday to realize
If she abandons her dreams then all the words she can say are only lies
When will she see that to gain is only to lose
All that she offers me are her chains, I got to refuse
It's only to herself that she's lied
She likes to pretend there's something that she should defend with her pride
I don't intend to stand there and be the friend from whom she must hide
Maybe she just has to sing for the sake of the song
Who do I think that I am to decide that she's wrong

Fiona you're awesome, he's another favorite of mine!! :D :D Yay!

"Silver Ships of Andilar"
-Townes Van Zandt, Legend

Of those that sailed the silver ships
From Andilar I am the last
The deeds that rang our youthful dreams
It seems shall go undone
North for the shores of Valinor
Our bows and crimson sails were made
Our captains were strong, our lances long
And our liege the holy king

The hills did turn from green to blue
And vanish as on the decks we watched
But every thought in that noble company
Was forward bound
To the lifeless plains of Valinor
Where reigns the dark and frozen one
And with tongues afire and glorious eyes
We pledged our mission be

The clime from mild to bitter ran
The wind from fair to fierce did blow
Oath and prayer did turn to thoughts
Of homes left far behind
Longed every man for some glimpse of land
And the host that did await us there
But each new day brought only a sea
And sky of ice and gray

Thanks give no word can drag you through
Those endless weeks our ships did roll
Thanks give you cannot see those sails
And faces bleach and draw
Ice we drank and leather did chew
For the oceans are unwholesome there
The dead that slid into the seas
Did freeze before our eyes

Then a wind did fling the ships apart
Each one to go her separate way
The sky did howl, the hull did groan
For how long I do not know
And what men were left when the winds had ceased
Grew dull and low of countenance
For soldiers denied their battle plain
On comrades soon must turn

So one by one we died alone
Some by hunger, some by steel
Bodies froze where they did fall
Their souls unsanctified
Until only another and I were left
Then just before his flame did fail
We shone ourselves brothers-in-arms
To serve the holy king

Perhaps this shall reach Andilar
Although I know not how it can
For once again he's hurled his wind
Upon the silver prow
But if it should my words are these
Arise young men fine ships to build
And set them north for Valinor
'Neath standards proud as fire

Some Black Sabbath

Country Girl

Fell in love with a country girl, morning sunshine
She was up from a nether world, just to bust another soul
Her eyes were an endless flame, holy lightning
Desire with a special name, made to snatch your soul away.

We sailed away on a crimson tide, gone forever
Left my heart on the other side, all to break it into bits
Her smile was a winter song, a sabbath ending
Don’t sleep or you’ll find me gone, just an image in the air...

In dreams I think of you
I don’t know what to do with myself
Time has let me down
She brings broken dreams, fallen stars,
The endless search for where you are

Fell in love with a country girl, morning sunshine
She was up from a nether world, just to bust another soul
Her eyes were an endless flame, unholy lady
Desire with a special name, made to snatch your soul away, oh!

Don’t sail away on a crimson tide!
Don’t leave your heart on the other side!
Her eyes are an endless flame
Desire with a special name
Don’t ever fall in love!
Don’t give your heart away!
No never, never fall in love with a country girl!

These two songs are written and performed vocally by Brian May and written by him as well.

Driven By You is great – I love the lyrics of this song, and it has a fantastic hard pounding beat. Brian May does an exceptional job in vocals.

DRIVEN BY YOU – Queen (performed and written by Brian May)

Ooh, everything I do, I do for you
Oh!
Ooh yeah

We touch, and you're afraid of me
And we burn and now I'm at your feet
High speed, but you know you're in safe hands
Oh
In the dark we make a brighter light
From one spark, to the horizon wide
We trust, and together we tame the land
Yeah!

Ooh
You'd be forgiven if you think you're dreaming
But we're working night and day to make a dream come true
Yeah
Everything I do is driven by you!

Oh
Come on babe

Oh well it's tough to make a journey through
The right stuff is dead ahead of you and me
And you know we've still got time
Oh
Hold on tight to the driving wheel
This ride is really out of line
Raw deal, but there's no other that's worth a dime!

You know I love you but you drive me crazy
'Cause you're saying all the things I want to say to you!
You say
Everything I do is driven by you!

Everything we do (x4)
Everything we do is driven by you

Inner children lost their way
But now they know the price you pay
I'm holding on to life with you
'Cause life without you just won't do

Driven by you

Yeah,
You know I'm never going to know who's dreaming
But we're working night and day to make a dream come true
Yeah
Everything I do is driven by you

Everything we do (x8)
Everything we do is
Driven by
Driven by
Driven by you

Ooh, everything I do I do for you

This next one is one of Queen’s older songs, featured on their album A Night At The Opera. I really like this one.

’39 – Queen (vocals, lyrics and music by Brian May)

In the year of ‘39
Assembled here the Volunteers
In the days when lands were few
Here the ship sailed out
Into the blue and sunny morn
The sweetest sight ever seen

And the night followed day
And the story tellers say
That the score brave souls inside
For many a lonely day
Sailed across the milky seas
Never looked back
Never feared
Never cried

Don't you hear my call
Though you're many years away?
Don't you hear me calling you?
Write your letters in the sand
For the day I'll take your hand
In the land that our grandchildren knew

In the year of ‘39
Came a ship in from the blue
The volunteers came home that day
And they bring good news
Of a world so newly born
Though their hearts so heavily weigh

For the earth is old and grey
Little darling we'll away
But my love this cannot be
Oh so many years have gone
Though I'm older but a year
Your mother's eyes
From your eyes
Cry to me

Don't you hear my call
Though you're many years away?
Don't you hear me calling you?
Write your letters in the sand
For the day I'll take your hand
In the land that our grandchildren knew

Don't you hear my call
Though you're many years away
Don't you hear me calling you
All your letters in the sand
Cannot heal me like your hand
For my life
Still ahead
Pity me.

I mentioned before that there are not many reasonable translations of Jaques Brel songs in English. I do like this one, though.

Hearts

There are those with hearts so open
One walks in without a knock
There are those with hearts so open
They're impossible to lock

There are those with hearts so tender
They are broken with one touch
There are those with hearts so tender
They can never live like us

And in those eyes I see
So many different needs
And in those eyes I see
A burning plea. Love me

There are those with hearts so moving
Always worn out on the sleeve
There are those with hearts so moving
They can never be at ease

There are those with hearts so restless
Always rolling like a stone
There are those with hearts so restless
They can never feel at home

And in those eyes I see
So many different needs
And in those eyes I see
A burning plea. Love me

I like the way Mary Coughlan sings this song :)

Phish; Free

I'm floating in the blimp a lot
I feel the feeling I forgot
Swimming weightless in the womb
Bouncing gently round the room
In a minute I'll be free
And we'll be splashing in the sea

I feel no curiosity
I see the path ahead of me
In a minute I'll be free
And we'll be splashing in the sea
We hear a tiny cry
As the ship goes sliding by

Free!
Free!

Free!

I'm floating in the blimp a lot
I feel the feeling I forgot
I'm floating in the blimp a lot
I feel free!
Free!
Free!
Free!
Free!

Rem - Country Feedback

This flower is scorched
This film is on
On a maddening loop.
These clothes,
These clothes don?t fit us right
I'm to blame
It's all the same
It's all the same

You come to me with a bone in your hand
You come to me with your hair curled tight
You come to me with positions
You come to me with excuses
Ducked out in a row
You wear me out
You wear me out

Weve been through fake-a-breakdown
Self hurt
Plastics, collections
Self help, self pain,
Est, psychics, f**k all
I was central
I had control
I lost my head
I need this
I need this
A paper weight, junk garage
Winter rain, a honey pot
Crazy, all the lovers have been tagged.
A hotline, a wanted ad
It's crazy what you could've had
It's crazy what you could've had
It's crazy what you could've had
I need this
I need this

This is the song my first (and only  ) serious girlfriend and I were listening to when we broke up. I've only recently been able to not cry at all when I listen to it... Sad, but true. Anyway...
REM is my favorite band... Check 'em out!

[Edit]-
Actually, if you've got any feed back, I'd love to hear it.

Another Irish Folk song, so it could have been sang by anyone

Seven Drunken nights, there are only 5 here, the last 2 would be deleted if they were put up.

As I went home on Monday night as drunk as drunk could be
I saw a horse outside the door where my old horse should be
Well, I called me wife and I said to her: Will you kindly tell to me
Who owns that horse outside the door where my old horse should be?

Ah, you're drunk,
you're drunk you silly old fool,
still you can not see
That's a lovely sow that me mother sent to me
Well, it's many a day I've travelled a hundred miles or more
But a saddle on a sow sure I never saw before

And as I went home on Tuesday night as drunk as drunk could be
I saw a coat behind the door where my old coat should be
Well, I called me wife and I said to her: Will you kindly tell to me
Who owns that coat behind the door where my old coat should be

Ah, you're drunk,
you're drunk you silly old fool,
still you can not see
That's a woollen blanket that me mother sent to me
Well, it's many a day I've travelled a hundred miles or more
But buttons in a blanket sure I never saw before

And as I went home on Wednesday night as drunk as drunk could be
I saw a pipe up on the chair where my old pipe should be
Well, I called me wife and I said to her: Will you kindly tell to me
Who owns that pipe up on the chair where my old pipe should be

Ah, you're drunk,
you're drunk you silly old fool,
still you can not see
That's a lovely tin whistle that me mother sent to me
Well, it's many a day I've travelled a hundred miles or more
But tobacco in a tin whistle sure I never saw before

And as I went home on Thursday night as drunk as drunk could be
I saw two boots beneath the bed where my old boots should be
Well, I called me wife and I said to her: Will you kindly tell to me
Who owns them boots beneath the bed where my old boots should be

Ah, you're drunk,
you're drunk you silly old fool,
still you can not see
They're two lovely Geranium pots me mother sent to me
Well, it's many a day I've travelled a hundred miles or more
But laces in Geranium pots I never saw before

And as I went home on Friday night as drunk as drunk could be
I saw a head upon the bed where my old head should be
Well, I called me wife and I said to her: Will you kindly tell to me
Who owns that head upon the bed where my old head should be

Ah, you're drunk,
you're drunk you silly old fool,
still you can not see
That's a baby boy that me mother sent to me
Well, it's many a day I've travelled a hundred miles or more
But a baby boy with his whiskers on sure I never saw before

Very good song here. It features not only Freddie on vocals, but Brian and Roger as well. Lyrics in white are sung either by Freddie, the choral background, or all of the Queen members together (minus John). Lyrics in blue are sung by Brian, and Roger’s lines will be in red.

LET ME LIVE -- Queen

(One, two, three, four)
Ooh,
Take a piece of my heart,
Ooh,
Take a piece of my soul
Ooh,
Let me live

Why don't you take another little piece of my heart?
Why don't you take it
And break it
And tear it all apart?
All I do is give
All you do is take
Baby, why don't you give me
A brand new start

So let me live (so let me live)
Let me live (leave me alone)
Let me live, oh baby
And make a brand new start

Why don't you take another little piece of my soul?
Why don't you shape it
And shake it
‘Til you're really in control?
All you do is take
And all I do is give
All that I'm asking
Is a chance to live

(So let me live) So let me live
(Leave me alone) Let me live
Let me live
Why don't you let me make a brand new start

Yeah
And it's a long hard struggle (yeah yeah)
But you can always depend on me
And if you're (ever in trouble)
Hey,
You know where I will be

Why don't you take another little piece of my life?
Why don't you twist it
And turn it
And cut it like a knife?
All you do is live
All I do is die
Why can't we just be friends
Stop living a lie

So let me live (so let me live)
Let me live (leave me alone)
Please let me live
Why don't you live a little,
Oh yeah baby
Why don't you give a little love?

Go for it baby

Let me live
Please let me live
Oh yeah baby,
Let me live
And make a brand new start

Ooh, let me live
Ooh, let me live
Ooh, (come on) let me live
Ooh,
Take another piece
Take another piece
Take another piece
Take another piece, please let me live
Take another piece
Take another piece
Take another piece
Why don’t you
Take another, take another
Piece of my, piece of my
Heart?
Oh yeah baby
Make a brand new start, baby baby,
Baby, baby,
All you do is take
Let me live
Let me live
Oh yeah
Let me live

This song really rocks! It isn't that much the lyric that I like, but the melody is the best part :p

Power And The Glory - Saxon

I'm a soldier of fortune I'm trained and I'm ready to kill
Put me to battle I'll follow the sound of the gun
Give me an order, command me I'll fire at will

I've got no emotions I'm living with thunder and steel
I don't hear your lies all I hear are your battle cries
I'm a soldier of fortune I'm trained and I'm ready to die

To the power and the glory
Raise your glasses high
To the power and the glory
Be with me tonight

A cold death awaits me tonight if I stumble or fall
My friends lay around me their bodies all tattered and torn
But mine is not to reason why, mine is just to do or die

To the power and the glory
Raise your glasses high
To the power and the glory
Be with me tonight

Can you feel the power
Can you feel the glory
Can you feel the power
Can you feel the glory
Can you feel the power
Is it with you tonight

I'm fighting for freedom, I'm safe, I've got God on my side
What price in life can you justify your battle hymn
The General says we'll will win the war, just sacrificed a thousand more

To the power and the glory
Raise your glasses high
To the power and the glory
Be with me tonight
Tonight, tonight, tonight

To the power and the glory
Raise your glasses high
To the power and the glory
Be with me tonight
Tonight, yaya

I was just informed a friend of mine died yesterday after brain surgery so I will have to post this

D12 - Good Die Young

[Intro]
Dawg....I shouldn't have left, They wouldn't have tried this
**** if I was wit ya
Maybe we would have picked another time
Or chose anotha way
Or maybe my prayers would have convinced him to choose another
soul
****, its just me and my mentoni now
Man you look so peaceful now...how can I argue wit that
They say...

[Chorus]
They say the good die young,
Thats why I think that you should have fun (when your young)
Cos time won't wait for noone (uh huh)
When god calls, you gotta go home (go home)

They say the good die young, (die young)
Thats why I know that we go' have fun,
In this life cos you only get one
When god comes for me, don't cry till I just went home

[Kon Artis]
Its true that everybody heard, there mama say every days like
this
When you see, one of your friends die in the mist
In the struggle, went through circumstances
Arrested every day just to prove a point to a friend
Even then, accidents are prone to happen to any man
A woman is dumb enough to pretend
That her, god won't hold them accountable for sins
If they commit, they try to repent to ??
But I guess (thats just the way things go)
I was blessed to see 24 (24)
To wake up to that "Hi, my name is" video
Motivated me to write what i wrote
And I knew my little brother sold dope
An mom and daddy want to move our road
I did it, I still got a lot to prove and show
I just which we aint have to lose Bugz to the struggle
Cos you know...

[Bizzare]
I know you used to Bizzare on some silly ****
But Niggas in my cliq, is dying quick
In detroit, niggas don't party
They pull a .44 out, snatch off bacardis
Thats why I keep the pistol under the trunk
Im 27 years old, too old to be gettin jumped
And f**k rap, I miss Karnail Pitts, b-u-g-z
Tattoed on my wrist
Me and you in the jeep, listen to ?? beats
Its a shame me and Fuzz don't even speak
I got married, my wife name is D
Peace to 31 and 51-50, miss you

[Kuniva]
I came back on that tragic, my phone rung
And Bizarres voice tellin me, Bugz was gone home
It was like a knife piercing my chest and I couldn't breath
I didn't wanna accept it, didn't wanna believe it
I swear with this weight dawg, I cried so hard
Literally, Denaun had to carry me to the car
While I stand in this booth now its tearin me apart
But I had to let it out cos it was tearin at my heart
Cos he died over somethin so petty and so small
A human life is so very precious I hope ya'll
Understand how I'm feelin cos I love you bugz
I wanna rhyme wit you, laugh wit you, hug you bugz
But I can't and you was so close to seein dreams
A coward came along and took you away from the team
So don't mistake this track, its just another song
This goes out to everyone who lost a loved one
Cos you know

[Proof]
They say its never too late, to have an early childhood
If I could, turn back the hands of time, God should
Forgive what i did as a kid to run blocks
Now my dreams are just dream cops and gun shots
The fun stops when your homies up in a box
My dudey bole, rest his soul, snuffed by the cops
I use to ?? a lot, if theres a guy by me say somethin
If you love her so much why didn't u gave nothin
When he took my homie, snuck was only in 11th grade
Now I hope to see your face at the heaven gates
It aint never late in the game, this hatin remains
With a grudge to see slugs straight through my frame
My heart aches with the pain, the life in his breath
We gotta have fun now, theres only minutes left
In the depth, distress young as a ??? did
To ??

[Swifty]
When I was younger I knew four brothers that wasn't wise
That crash and the driver died,
My partner on the passenger side was paralysed
And Im surprised by the look of that ride that the other peeps
survived
Nine months later another one died
Somebody shot him in the side when he was startin up his ride
3 years go by, I made a hell of a run
And thats when funky got done, a joey playin wit guns
And ??, karty was my man
And reggy, I wish that I was wit you in that van
And Bugz if it wasn't for you
You know I wouldn't be standin in this booth,
Thats the truth, I miss ya'll...

[Chorus x2]
They say the good die young,
Thats why I think that you should have fun (when your young)
Cos time won't wait for noone (uh huh)
When god calls, you gotta go home (go home)

They say the good die young, (die young)
Thats why I know that we go' have fun,
In this life cos you only get one
When god comes for me, don't cry till I just went home

@ Athena, sorry about your friend. :(

I love this song, it makes me all happy and bouncy.
"Today Is The Day" by Dope

Today is the day that I will let it go away
That I will let it be okay
That I will throw it all away
Today is the day that I will piss it all away
And will I miss it well I may
But that's the change that I'm willing to take

I don't like this anymore then you
But I do what I got to do

I want to be free of everything
Everything
I've had more than I can take
I want to be free of everything
Everything
I've had it today is the day

Today is the day that I will smoke it all away
That I will toke it all away
That I will blow it all away
Today is the day that I'll be happier to say
That I am living day to day
And that my life's the way I hope it'd be

I don't buy this anymore then
You so I do what I got to do

I want too be free of everything
Everything
I've had more than I can take
I want to be free of everything
Everything
I've had it today is the day

Forget about tomorrow
Today's the day

Thank you for the sympathies, Magrus, Fiona, everyone. Here are some lyrics for you.
Weezer:Say It Aint So

Oh Yeah.
All Right.
First Verse-

Somebody's Heiney is crowning my icebox.
Somebody's cold one is giving me chills.
Guess I'll just close my eyes.
Inter-

Oh yeah.
All right.
Feels good.
Inside.
Second Verse-

Flip on the Tele... Wrestle with Jimmy.
Somethin' is bubblin' behind my back.
The bottle is ready to go.
Chorus-

Say it ain't so a-woah-a-woah.
Your drug is a heartbreaker.
Say it ain't so a-woah-a-woah.
My love is a life-taker.
Verse 3-

I can't confront you, I never could do...
That which might hurt you.
Try and be cool, when I say:
This way is-a-waterslide-away-from-me-to-chase-her-fuller-everyday! Hey!
So be cool.
Chorus-

Say it ain't so a-woah-a-woah.
Your drug is a heartbreaker.
Say it ain't so a-woah-a-woah.
My love is a life-taker!
Verse 4-

Dear daddy, I write you in spite of fears of silence.
You cleaned up, found Jesus, Things are good also I hear.
This bottle of Stevens awakens ancient feelings...
Like father, Step-Father...
This song is drowning in the blood! Yeah Yeah-Yeah Yeah-Yeah!
Chorus-

Say it ain't so a-woah-a-woah.
You drug is a heartbreaker.
Say it ain't so a-woah-a-woah.

My love is a life-taker.

Arctic Monkeys:I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor

[verse]
Stop making the eyes at me,
I'll stop making the eyes at you.
What really surprises me is that i don't really you to
And your shoulders are frozen (as cold as the night)
Over you're an explosion (but you're dynamite
Your name isn't Rio, but i don't care for sand
Lightning the fuse might in a bang with a bang-go

[chorus]
I said i bet that you look good on the dance floor
I don't know if you're looking for romance or what
Don't know what you're looking for
Well i bet that you look good on the dance floor
Dancing to electro-pop like a robot from 1984
from 1984!

[verse]
I wish you'd stop ignoring me because you're sending me to despair,
Without a sound yeh you're calling me and i don't think it's very fair
That your shoulders are frozen (as cold as the night)
Oh your an explosion (Your dynamite)
Your name isn't Rio but i don't care for sand
Lightning the fuse might result in a bang with a bang-go

[chorus]
I said i bet that you look good on the dancefloor
I don't know if you're looking for romance or what
I don't know what you're looking for
I said i bet that you look good on the dance floor
Dancing to electro-pop like a robot from 1984
from 1984!
