Originally posted by Tybaltus Well I say, let the man work his mojo, and get give every member their momentary spotlight. Everyone will have their turn, right now its Castor and Khaggoth with their new puppy friends.
Quite. Khaggoth has gotten the least amount of screen time of all the cast (save new comer Beatrice). He and Castor work so well together that it just made sense to focus on the two of them for a few issues.
Originally posted by Tybaltus Hes doing a great job, and only so much can be done with 6 panals and for it to flow well.
It's all thanks to the hard-working kobolds.
Originally posted by Tybaltus Im saying this so you dont feel the pressure to give everyone a spotlight in every episode, because then it probably wouldnt flow as well as it is now.
Yeah, it's hard enough working in the main cast. I can't imagine how the heck I'm to juggle everybody when the Shadow Pack returns. That's nine people! (5 Dungeon Crawlers/4 Shadow Packers)
P.S. Today's issue is running late (again). Be patient.

Crickey! Since youve been a spongemonkey, youve been nothing but trouble! I say revolt from the spongemonkey powers!
Or maybe because Voodoo is your mother, youve become too liberal! Good God! Hes become too peace-d out to do DCI on a regular on-time basis!
“Caw, Caw!” The call of the wild calls you. Are you listening? Do you dare challenge their power? Do you dare invade? Nature will always triumph in the end.

Oh, and latest issue is finally up. I've been working on it since 8 in the morning. It took longer than I anticipated, since in addition to only starting work on it today, it was also a lot more complex than usual (remember the big battle I promised?). Hopefully you guys will find it worth the wait.

You mean the color of Arudin's magic? Yeah pink and purple look more "mystical" than other colors.

I really liked the gnoll's head bending upwards after Bea's kick in panal 2.
But Durnkragg looked a bit.....odd when he was applying his knee attack.
Still a good episode.

Kick? What kick? He slashed a gnoll's throat with his axe while on the run.

Indeed...well, I thought it was a knee attack, but, it was hard to make out what he was doing, but also he looked tall. Thats why I said it looked odd.
But after spending 2 hours of studying works from Burnini, Bruegal, Rubens, Caravaggio, Borromini, among other Beroque artists, its hard to bring my head into the comic aspects of art...Im telling you, had it come BEFORE I had the class, everything would be okey dokey.

Man, I'm wracking my brain trying to figure out where I went wrong on this issue. I mean it took fricking forever. And yet Durnkrag looks like he's a six foot martial artist or something (since you said he looks tall and thought he kicked). His porportions look all right to me...

His body mid-flight needs to be broader, to show the huge muscle-bound dwarven chest he obviously has on him...from the semi-side on position, he looks less like he can press 500lb
EDIT - Also, I think his shoulders aren't quite broad enough in the second picture - only my opinion, but with these two things I think the proportions would look better.

Yeah, if anything it's the shoulders/arms that aren't as large in the second picture (nobody's perfect). But that doesn't really affect the legs. I still don't see how he can be mistaken for "kneeing" somebody.

Anyone who has spent the afternoon looking at Rubens' pictures is going to have a fairly warped sense of proportion - for example, any of the DCI characters looks malnourished by comparison.
