You mean the color of Arudin's magic? Yeah pink and purple look more "mystical" than other colors.

I really liked the gnoll's head bending upwards after Bea's kick in panal 2.
But Durnkragg looked a bit.....odd when he was applying his knee attack.
Still a good episode.

Kick? What kick? He slashed a gnoll's throat with his axe while on the run.

Indeed...well, I thought it was a knee attack, but, it was hard to make out what he was doing, but also he looked tall.
Thats why I said it looked odd.
But after spending 2 hours of studying works from Burnini, Bruegal, Rubens, Caravaggio, Borromini, among other Beroque artists, its hard to bring my head into the comic aspects of art...Im telling you, had it come BEFORE I had the class, everything would be okey dokey.

Man, I'm wracking my brain trying to figure out where I went wrong on this issue. I mean it took fricking forever. And yet Durnkrag looks like he's a six foot martial artist or something (since you said he looks tall and thought he kicked). His porportions look all right to me...

His body mid-flight needs to be broader, to show the huge muscle-bound dwarven chest he obviously has on him...from the semi-side on position, he looks less like he can press 500lb
EDIT - Also, I think his shoulders aren't quite broad enough in the second picture - only my opinion, but with these two things I think the proportions would look better.

Does this plan involve a monkey in some way? If not, can it?

Anyone who has spent the afternoon looking at Rubens' pictures is going to have a fairly warped sense of proportion - for example, any of the DCI characters looks malnourished by comparison.
Another great ep. Kayless.
