Cool ep kay!
So, when are they going to level up? :D

It's nice that Arudin is getting some extra attention btw.

LOL, I was just going to ask about that lvl up!

I totally agree, whe see to little of my favorite wizzard (or any other spellcasters).
But wait untill they level up, I would love to see what havoc he can create with a timestop spell :D :D

About the episode:
Good drawings, (is still miss the sprites though), and for one time, more action then fun.
Good work

I have no problem with the random insertion of a monkey, but...what plan?? :D

Awesome ep Kay!! Kinda reminds me of an X-men comic, with all the battle-talk. Astonishing graphic-wise! Keep it up dude! ;)

Loved Arudin's thinking face and Khaggoth's exhasted grimace. :D

They're around third level I believe. So it takes a little longer before they level up now. But soon...

Arudin would be pretty nasty with higher level spells. Part of the fun though is seeing how the cast makes do with their low level spells and abilities.

For the first year of DCI we had hardly any fights. I figured that it was about time I delivered. :)

That's high praise! :) And it brings DCI back to the original topic of this thread (the X-Men). :D

Whew! I'm glad you can tell that was a hole in the gnoll's corpse. After Tybs thinking Durnkrag was kneeing somebody I was afraid people would think there was a vine or something growing out of the gnoll's chest! :p

I don't think there are many monkeys down there, but maybe Khaggoth will be able to voice your monkey yearning to Arudin (it’s something our favorite half-orc would support). :D

I stated I thought it was a good episode....I just wanted to critique and point out one frame. Good golly... :p

I try to give constructive criticism so that you can improve your already mad comic drawing skills. And so that you can build and learn based on the criticisms. It will all turn out better in the end.

If everyone was a yes-man, this world would be black and white.

Sometimes I think you look too hard for flaws, just to rag on me. You evil, judgmental man you. :p

Hey Kayless

In Icewind Dale, there was a (women) character named Kaylesse.
Did you get your name from her? :D

I believe "Kay" means happiness in japanese, and "less" means lack of or deprived of, so Kayless' name comes from "deprived of happiness/joy"...heh, how phoney is that, aye? :D ;)

I believe thats what he got the name from....

It's quite blatantly a bastardised version of "Kahless", the name of the first and greatest Klingon emperor who (n)ever lived... :D

How can he be called Kay, when his name is KayLESS. Wouldnt that mean he woundnt be Kay, because he lacks Kay? Or am I reading in to his name too deeply? :D

Actually you’re not far off, since I first used the name Kayless for a character in a short story I wrote. Kay meaning joy, and less... well that’s pretty self-explanatory. It suited the character and since I liked the sound of it I decided to use it for my online ventures as well. Now you know, and knowing is half the battle. Image
