But then Khaggoth would have killed it when he swung his axe, wouldn't he?
That would have made it a very short plan.

But then again, Summons can talk (right?), and
Illusions can't

Correction, some illusions can. Just not crappy second level spells.

Isn't Arudin to low a level to cast simulacrum, and doesn't that spell cast a copy of oneself and not an illusion of a gnoll.
Aaaaaaaaaah but maybe Arudin is actualy a Gnoll in Elvish disguise

Yeah, Arudin is way low to be casting Simulacrum (a seventh level spell). His illusionary gnoll is the result of a Minor Image spell (a very limited second level spell). Had he been of a higher level, he would have polymorphed himself into a gnoll. But alas, you gotta make do with what you have.

I think it's just the animal magnetism of Castor.

ROFLMAO, hilarous April's Fool ep Kay! At first I didn't see the AF text, so it freaked me pretty much out to see Arudin giving up his bastardhood.
Like the new vote image. (and who wouldn't?)

Including me. Excellent ep, Kayless, very appropriate to the day.

Glad you like it.
It's fun to occasionally break from continuity and really cut loose.

I agree. If Khaggoth killed all the others, the strip would be a bit "sparse" afterwards (even "all-nude" eps wouldn't attract too much of an audience).

I dunno, one should never underestimate the sex appeal of a half-orc.

If you want to keep climbing up the Web Comics hit parade, you probably shouldn't overestimate it either....
