Anyone Else Disappointed By the Ending? (Spoilers)

That's what I first thought, but I thought they wouldn't have invented them by then.
I don't even know WHEN this is set. I know it is several hundred years after Fable 1, but I don't know specifically what century it is.

Well there are guns so a little research as to when guns started becoming popular would give a rough estimate. But the fact that it's still called Albion and not Great Britan by then is a wee bit odd. Then again that's also going a little further then I think the developers themselves went so wouldn't matter. Unless their trying to make Fable blend into realities history which could be why their killing off heros, then that rough estimate would mean something in-game.
