Indeed.
With Project Image in mind, there is really no need to choose that much damage spells. 3 damage per level are more then enough - the other picks can be a mix of party party enhancing spells (a single image can protect the entire party from magical energy... or even improved-hasting all the party members!), and varios other 'fun' spells. And a few cheesy spells in between

...

The same idea for my chart...
better to have a wide range of spells, if REALLY multiple
casting of the same spells are needed, there are always the
images!
