The installation invovles copying files directly into the override folder, so not really. However they don't have any dialogs only modifications to items, creatures and areas. It should work if you install the BG1 NPC's first and then Sola, Tashia and Kelsey.

Who in hell is Xan?
Who in hell is Xan and who gives a damn about him? was he a good fighter or something? i've never played BG before, is it good? i don't want to get it cause i already finished SOA and don;t want to play over again,
