I fought the demi-lich in Watcher's Keep (githyanki lair) and beat him easily by, I think, accidentally finding a bug in the program. If you have the Ring of the Ram (which does between 10-18 points of damage or something like that) Haste someone (anyone) and send them in the room alone. Pause right when you get in, use the ring (it hits from distance like a missile weapon), then exit the room BEFORE he uses his demi-lich howl. The bug is this: unless he howls, he won't follow the character, but he'll still be "in combat", I think. To replenish the Ring, rest. Then do it again. The demi-lich won't regenerate unless he CASTS his howl. If he says he's howling, make sure you get out before he CASTS it. In three attempts, the Ring will kill him. This might even work against Kangaxx.
