I haven't played Divine Divinity, but according to most, actually everyone, on the forum, it's one of the best RPG's out there. Apparently it's got diablo action with Baldur's Gate openendness, but you'd better ask fable about that. He's the expert on the game.

I'm hardly an expert: just a player who enjoyed the game. It's got its failings, but it's fun, and reminds me in some ways of a mix of Ultima VII and Diablo. Check out the forum here on the boards, to get some more info on it.

Thanks for the tips, fellas.
The best RPG I ever played was the first I ever played. It was Ultima Underworld I and II - anyone remember that? God, I loved that game and played it over and over again.
