I refuse to admit that I suck at any game :D . Really though, I don't think I've ever really sucked that badly. Well, except maybe The Sims. I just can't deal with their constant needs and all my sims seem to die (mysteriously ;) ). Other then that, I'm pretty good at most everything, though I never really get to the top. Maybe cause I play so many different types that I can't focus on getting good at any.

Beyond not being very good at it, I can't say Sims does anything for me....
It is also a really strange game IMHO... kind of voyeuristic in a way...

Other than that I really suck at first-person shooters. ... I always seem to miss my targets. What is weird though is that the times I have been out at archery or shooting ranges I have discovered I possess a surprisngly good aim...

Multiplayer games, I do suspect the other people online tend to cheat. But if thats how they get their kicks then well good for them. Generally its the FPS varieties but I did try to play Age Of Empires 2 a long time ago and by the time they took over all the major resource deposits, I was still trying to get my barracks up. :D

Driving games - I suck at them - totally - really bad.

Dunno why though - allmost all other genres I can at least compete in - but driving .... sheez.

Only driving games I've actually been good at was games like Carmageddon and Destruction Derby ... but hey, there you are requiered to drive poorly (otherwise you can't hit pedestrians) :)

My best genres are ... well.... most any others :)

hehe - I notice this also - when in the army I could consitantly pick down targets up to 400m with a rifle and 600m with a tripodded machinegun (couldn't hit a target 100m away with 100 shots when standing - surprisingly hard), but sometimes in FPS games I couldn't hit dirt when falling down.
Although I can still comepete in FPS games, I am no where near excellent in them :)

Exactly the same here....

I suck BIG TIME in any FPS/Multiplayer - even if I've beat the single player mode without any problems... ;) Maybe I just don't devote enough time to train my reflexes... **shrugs**

RTS - I don't know how they do it....but I haven't even managed to get out of the stoneage - when some guy marches down the streets of my capital in his newest 20-century hovertank... (or some other "high technology level"- equipment...) :(

No worries, I'll just keep to RPG's...

None, I don't suck at a single genre, in fact the only game I haven't done any good on was Operation Flashpoint and that was because I didn't have the patience to wade through the bugs in the game.

I usualy suck at games like those Tom Clancy games, I just want to go in and shoot everyting, (Which is a nice motto in life.) but I keep forgetting my team or the fact that there are hostages.

It doesn't help that I'm good at FPS (had my training with Unreal Tournament) cause then you just know you can do it on your own.

Also suck at games like Simcity where you have to micromanage everyting. Just don't have the patience.

Anything that requires me to aim at anything is doomed to fail...... I can get in the air arouns but never actually hit the dude..... that's why I love RPG :D you don't have to aim....just click on the guy and the aiming is done :D :D

I'm not to bad at RTS either, but FPS are hopless..... there is no way I'll ever hit a running target

I've yet to meet a game I couldn't master. I don't know if that's a good thing or not. I don't really prefer any genre over the other.

You guys must not be playing the same Sims games I have when saying there's nothing to kill. There's just tons of people and children about town just waiting to drown in that little 2X2 swimming pool.

The same goes for me, I suppose. If the game holds my interest, I always end up mastering it. Age of Empires bored me to tears after 5 hours of play (same with Galactic Battlegrounds, I'll give that one to Neo ;) ), and as it stands *most* RTS games do, unless they happen to be quite sophisticated. The more complex the game, the more I enjoy it. Personally, I can't wait to get my hands on MOO3. It looks like it's right up my alley.

I've come to enjoy FPS games a great deal...but I suppose I have also spoiled myself in this department (I only buy the best). I have noted that as I have aged ( :o ), it takes me longer to master the FPS games than it used to... :( I'm coming along fine with Enclave for the Xbox, it's just taking me longer to get there.

I wouldn't say that this is my fault, but I really cannot play most first-person shooter type games, since I tend to get really really really nauseated when running through a lot of tunnels real fast. What I think happens is this - my frontal vision is telling my brain I'm going really fast, while my peripheral vision is telling my brain I'm not moving at all. Brain's answer? Puke time. This pretty much limits me to RTS and RPG games (althought the RPG's are starting to look more and more like shooters) - I liked the overhead view of BG, and had a slight feeling of constant nausea to contend with when running around Morrowind.

I personally suck at any computer game that requires quick reflexes and the hand coordination skills necessary to manage heavy machinery.

I too have problems landing in Flight Sims - but that is only due to being to impatient.

Much faster to just throw your plane down into the runway ... hey presto .. you've landed.

Lifthoffs are rather easy - except when I tried MS Flight Sim and immidately tried to fly a concord.
Couldn't even keep that sucker in the air - even if I started in the air.... would go less then 2 sec. and then I would be just smack into the ground :)

But then again - I*ve never bothred playing Flight Sims much.
