No levitation just is a lot more fun then jump. Expecially when your flying at high speeds of +500 levitation.
Use two of those scrolls.

If you're wanting quick travel with a high degree of jump points, how many slow fall points would you want so you dont fall and bust your ass everytime?

Icarian flight scrolls are fun, especially when you got a high enough acrobatics you dont take damage from falls
...pity theres only 3 of them though...

If the jump spell or fortify athletics is still in effect when you land - and its the same as when you started, then you're fine. For this reason I sometimes use the scrolls to get me to Balmora right at the start of the game. I use the first one, and just before I land, the second one. I then use the third and jump again, and hope I land in the river... doesn't always work like that though....

ONE!
seriously, after extensive experiments, you only need one point ever!!!
any more than 5 or so, and it affects your jump height...
but levitate to the limit of the game, and cast dispell, and cast one point of slowfall...you will be unhurt...
this is why i make exquisite shoes of
restore fatigue,
slowfall
walk on water
for most of my major travelling...
add a 50-75 point jump ring, and i can travel...

Exquisit items always seem to elude me.. I check all the outfitters and clothiers I can find but no one ever has them

I did find a use for one of them though,
The room with the big spinning blade, if you are using heavy armour and cant jump, wack on an icarian flight scroll.
and ive maxed my acrobatics, you still die when you hit the deck,
