Fortify Acrobatics

Post by Ares2382 »

Ok, so everyone remembers the guy who falls of the sky around Seeda Kneen(however you spell that). I have always sold the scrolls that I got from looting that guy, but this time just for the hell of it I decided to try it out, and man was that a hell of a jump I made. Almost took me to Balmora, before I realised that I had no slowfall :( well I just wanted to tell that to everyone cause it was really cool, even though it was fatal too.

Today I couldn't be bothered with the walk to Ghostgate from Vivec, so I simply opened the console and using cheats put my acrobatics at 2000. I was there in about 40 seconds including load times for the cells.
Then I took off the althletics...

Great fun.

fortify acrobatics is good...

but jump constant effect is better...

50 jump=200 acrobatics...

strength, how much stuff you're carrying both affect jumping distance...

absolutely the easiest way to get around morrowind... :p

It's funny you mentioned that... :D

I would think everyone's first reaction when that guy hits the ground is to save the game & try it out themselves! I know I did... Didn't take me long to regret it though, but it was fun while it lasted!
I do use them constructively though. They're a great substitute for levitation if you don't have it, and they can be very nice to get you out of a tight spot in the case of an emergency...

Be advised that both those suggestions require slowfall!

i'm pretty sure jump multiplies your acrobatics, so maxed out acrobatics is good... i think
there are a few people who sell spells. look for something like Tinurs Hoptoad. thats a jump effect spell

Today I couldn't be bothered to walk to Pelegiad from Balmora (can we ever) so I simply took out the console and set my acrobatics at 2200. One jump later I was outside the Halfway Tavern... It feels a little too easy, but I've done that walk a million times before and can't be bothered...

Really, if you want to get around just buy a bunch of scrolls of Windwalker. +500 levitation and invisibility for 60 seconds. Better then extra jump.
I kill two dwarves in the morning, I kill two dwarves at night. I kill two dwarves in the afternoon, and then I feel alright. I kill two dwarves in time of peace and two in time of war. I kill two dwarves before I kill two dwarves, and then I kill two more.
I may be bad, but I feel good.

Once you are a high enough rank in the mages guild you can talk to the Enchanter in the Caldera Mages guild and you can buy a scroll called "Windwalker." I also believe you can buy it from the Enchanter in Ald'ruhn Mages Guild, but you need to be a high enough rank also.

yeah but levitation is nowhere near as fun as jumping way up there and then falling to your death :p

hope you're friendly with the telvanni, look around the council towers. up the top are usually some retainers that sell spells and gear. you can buy a summon golden saint spell from one of them. not sure whose tower that is though

I got it at Tel Branora just right from Vivec.
I got it at the tower of some lady who is important in the city. You can probably get someone to talk about her. Intresting enough, I found the spell on the way to the Azura's Shrine, to get the star.
