Well, it's interesting to see my thread being picked up by another member for good purposes. Carry on, men!

BTW, CM, what's the story on your upcoming replies to my Domain thread in the FR forum?

AC/DC rocks, good choices of music. ;)

Union Underground might be a band you may like. South Texas rock band I found amusing in high school. The "theory of a dead man" made me remember them.

Crossbreed you may like then if your into metal with a techno feel. I love their song "Breathe".

Good luck with searching out new music. FYE is a good place to look for mainstream bands, you can listen to just about all of the cd's in their store there. They usually end up located in malls. I know I hate buying cd's without hearing them first.

Otep, I like the band personally but here goes. Girl-poet for a lead singer with some quite disturbing issues from her family that come through in her music. Lends to quite an intense and passionate feel for the music, which is something I like but, some of the songs just aren't pleasant to deal with listening to the lyrics, and I'm quite used to strange and odd things being dealt with. It's a real heavy metal type sound though, if thats your kind of thing then I'd say try out their "Sevas Tra" album ("Art Saves" backwards FYI). They've come out with a followup album to that one, but I listened to it too much. It is definately a band that isn't afraid of expressing themselves and I've always liked banch with a message and with that attitude, so I may be biased on that one.

Sorry, I can't help with the others, I've never heard of them, I sort of avoid radio and TV like the plague.

CKY stands for Camp Kill Yourself, though I think they just go by CKY. Their antics were the inspiration for the Jackass TV show. They have DVDs of said antics available set to their music. Good stuff if you are into that sort of thing.
