The kensai kit is the cheese start kit... not matter what you dual class too (almost).
Kensai/Mage - I dont think the game can get any easier.. I practically ran through BG2 with it.
Kensai/Thief - Same thing as with mage but with the theives abilities.
IMHO the kensai should not be dual class'able. I cant see ANY reason why a >Sword Saint< should become a mage, theif or anthing else for that matter.
But at the end of the day, I really dont care... after playing through BG2 with a kensai mage, I really enjoyed the fact that I didnt play this class for my first game. But if people finds backstapping for 200hp of damage fun and gives them something to enjoy... go ahead.. I think you missing out on some of the fun of the game.
