Yes, I just love getting calls from a female and her not knowing what to say, and my being confused as to why she's calling without anything to say. Then, I get hit with [***** voice]"Well, if you aren't going to say anything I don't know why I bothered to call you. *click*"[\***** voice]

Well, if someone initiates a conversation with another person, without a topic to discuss, obviously it has a good chance of failure.

Why is it people do that? If it's just they happen to miss another person, why not call and simply say so rather than hold silent hoping to recieve something back from the person you've called and not letting them in on whats going on.

Well, there's a difference between simply babbling when not talking about anything important and when there is nothing being said. If someone calls me and doesn't say anything beyond "hi" and then gets irritated we aren't talking, they're just being silly.

Mostly very young males or males living in sexually restricted environments are fascinated by two girls kissing. You must have picked a generally confused bunch of people to give your phone number to. Nobody ever calls me without having anything to say. If a friend calls "just to talk" they always want to talk about some specific topic/s or they have some specific question.

Because they find you unattractive and feel offended because you obviously thought they would find you attractive? Or because it's a cheap worn one-liner if you say it like that? I don't know really, it depends on how you say it, perhaps you sound like you take it for granted that they will say yes, and then they may be offended because of that.

5. Why do people have fascinations with guns?

People=Americans mostly, it's not so common amoung people in other parts of the world. In Europe, gun fascination is associated to psychiatric disorder and social problems, in the US it seems more common among people in general. I think it's because in the US you have a culture where guns, killing and violence is strongly connected to power and success among large groups of the population.

Because they are cynical and suspect ulterior motives not for a second believing someone can be nice for no reason. They are also for the most part right. You are also implying they can't cook their own breakfast and are thus repressing the modern liberated woman.

It gives the insecure a false sense of power. If I were to go Freudian, I'd say it's their repressed sexuality acting up, the guns representing the almighty phallus. That would also explain CM's fascination with the Desert Eagle - one of the largest handguns available.

Number three (IMHO) would cover shy people at a young age, once this person/persons gains years and still has this problem..they have no life.

Number five could be anything from a sense of power to a crackpot looking to take out the world. Fear nothing more than a person bullied at a young age and then given a gun.

LOL, you should live in Germany. (Unless it is only in urban areas you drive too fast). A friend of mine got herself a really crappy and uncomfortable car, that way she was not so tempted to drive very fast anymore, since the entire car started rocking and shaking as soon as you hit 100 km/h

The guy who used to be my clinical supervisor is like you, he is now 55-ish and I don't know how many times he has lost his driving licence for speeding...In Sweden, you only get fined for driving less than 30 km/h too fast, if you drive more than 30 km/h too fast you loose your driving license for 3 months.

A question what causes a headache? I have never understood how a chemical reaction in the brain can be causes by emotions. (I am taking for granted here the assumption that emotions are nothing more than chemical responses, i refuse to believe that logical statment

Serious or not, doesn't matter in the end. Someone will wind up with amusement or wisdom in the end.

As to the girls, my minds been stuck in the gutter since I was placed in the lap of a 12th grade cheerleader my first year of schooling when I was 5. I spent every bus ride that year there too dealing with her antics. I suppose that could be why I'm not amazed by it anymore, that and my lesbian friends. Sex is an entirely different matter from two girls kissing each other however I'm afraid.

As to the guns, yes, this makes so much more sense now. All of those guys arguing who has the most powerful rifle or shotgun makes SO much more sense.

Could be, I've been told by some girls it seems like I'd need 8 more hours in each day to get rid of all of the urges I have. Then again, I'M not the one who's afraid to hold a weapon. Well, it's generally only something I do when I'm already dating someone, so perhaps it'd be the last one there. More often than not it's good for a a laugh in the morning from the girl though.
