What a shame to, because Imoen is the most attractive woman in the game IMHO.</STRONG>
You're missing the point. As stated by Xyx, Imoen is NOT your sister.

Yes, but Imoen is much younger than you (looking at her, I would say that you're 200 years older). Also you grew together and you considered her as your sister (look at Imoen's Bio).
Any romance with her is impossible as he's already your friend.
It's strange than Jaheira forgot Khalid SOOO quickly and begain romancing with you. (And she is older than you, almost like your mother so it's strange...)

Are you saying friends can never be lovers?

She's a Half-Elf. They do not mature at the same pace Humans do (and yes, the game was written from a Human standpoint when it comes to your age). If she married Khalid at the age of 20 or so, she would be about 40 by the time you meet her, which is still reasonably young for Half-Elves.

Besides, if we grant that these characters have any sort of reality (and I don't), then we must acknowledge that people are "damaged goods," because people aren't goods. They're individuals, with the ability to regenerate themselves like nothing else, over time.
But of course, the women you're referring to are bits of code that (as I've remarked before) were probably created by a 300 pound programmer named Bubba. Real relationships are infinitely messier, and infinitely more thrilling.

Wow.... Fable is right...
That is unless you're just in the relationship to knock boots. Even though Bubba in the back was probably visiting www.drow-*****es.com (whoever gave me that link , THANKS !) too much and suddenly had the ill-conceived notion that Viconia, who would probably sneak around with Sarevok behind your back is a good romance option. I mean this is some poorly-directed Jerry Spring re-run ! You're the useless deadbeat without a job, Anomen is the perenially confused moron, Aerie is the under-age circus refugee with ill-conceived notions of the world, Jaheira is your gddamn aunt, and Viconia... well she reminds me of one of those gddamn blue freaks that the buddha-smoking geniuses working in Intel's marketing division hired. I hate those blue freaks ! I would never date their sister ! NEVER !
No, you socially inept child, the link www.drow-*****es.com, is not actually a real site. I wish I could just register the site and make a counter just to see how many people visit the place. *sigh* Procrastination however has much better short-term benefits.

Well since all the romance dialogs are written by men, and these men are probably computer geeks(no offense Bioware
), and geeks generally have bad luck in relationship(no offense geeks
), maybe they were carrying out their inner frustration when they created the romances?

hmmm, pinky pinky is probably right.
we have a whiner about her past
we have a *****
we have a tough, athletic girl
hmmm, i would've prefered Nalia if you ask me. Imoen is too much "little sister" type to be in a romance.

they need to have some rich guy make the romances because that is how it would be is it just me or in the game to normal people like 1000 gold is a fortune so wouldnt that mean when you get like 30k gold yur very rich i mean the de arnis keep or what ever only had 10k for the whole kingdom so if your 1 guy with 30k gold i think that a bunch of hot chicks would be all over you. i mean gees in real life look who gets really hot models wanting to date him ya thats right bill gates and other rich guyz. i mean seriously the hotest girls always wana marry a rich dude then say they love him but once he loses his fortune she dumps him but i wana see more hot chicks in some patch someone needs to make a huge semi xpack that just adds like more characters to bg2 because look at how many characters are in bg1 i mean D-A-M-N there gotta be at least 30 of them wanting to join me hell why not make about 10 hot chicks wanting to join me and well get me laid

Whoa killer-kid try editing your post and making some sense out of it. It's just one chaotic jumble of incoherent ideas. I get what you're saying, but it's just giving me a headache looking at it.

After the Jaheira scenario, when she has a knife held to her throat, don't you wish one of your response options was...
4. "Well, Jaheira, I knew you had cast Iron Skins just a few minutes ago, so that moron with a butterknife wasn't going to do SQUAT to you!"

damn
i jus read half of this crap and i agree with most... those sluts. when Aerie started talkin about how her stupid wings have been cliped i loved when Jan said something like : "no prob, lets jus shove some turnups up ur ass and ull be flying". Wal if she wants to fly then i guess sky's the limit. When it comes to romance than Nalia rules. She's human, she's cool, she's hot. jaheira with her half-elven druid **** and harpers makes me puke. When ur near that temple in docks dist that fat ass makes u buy that preant for jaheira. well **** me dead...some of us dont have lovely credit cards. or for that case anymoney so your necklace does **** for me. viconia? i jus let her burn on that %ยค#"/ stake. she's pain. Why cant u have romnce with urself????

Romance with yourself? Nah, that's too much like real life!

Ha Ha Ha Ha I hadn't checked out this thread in a long time because I just have checked out on the whole romance thing in the game (except Phaere) - I mean, if you want romance, import a picture of Rose McGowan and Shadowkeep that into the place of Korgan or something! I mean imagine her saying "Me axe be bloody ready!" Whew!
Anyway, I'm glad to see some people just saying no to Aerie, Jaheira, Vicky & Anomen...these four make celibacy look kinda good!
And don't rag on Killerkid! Like he said, it's summer - why should he have to edit his posts? He's got a good point, too. I'm walking around with like 300,000 gold and I get no play? Maybe it's because you can't buy Hindo's Lexus SC300 anywhere!

Not
everyone has to be 'damaged goods'. I certainly don't feel like that, for one.
Same cannot be said for the figments of Bubba's imagination, however. Surely you agree that the amount of grief carried by these three women is nowhere near realistic. Wings cut off / husband disected / raped and tortured... not exactly your average emotional baggage. I guess the lives of 'normal' people are way too dull to be used as templates for computer games.

Whoa! Big-a$$ run-on sentence! Dude, try using one of
these "." every now and then. I might even take what you're trying to say seriously. No, really.

Yup. I made that point in another thread. I mean, who really *wants* to travel into a mysterious land an engage in a relationship with a girl who resembles--Sally Jo Baker, whose father runs that butcher shop on Fifth and Main, right around the corner from you? Pretty exciting, huh?
All three women have problems of this scope because they're meant to be exotic, and teenage boys are drawn to the exotic. I think teenage girls are more levelheaded, which is why they didn't bother with the exotic stuff when choosing Anomen. Unless, of course, they just decided on Anomen because they didn't care what teenaged girls thought. He certainly has a personality that makes the female trinity seem sweet and innocent.

Fable, you could be a gnomish mage, ranger or a halfling barbarian, among other possibilities. I think you would need to go a bit further than romances to take the exotic out of this.
