There is NO official release date

There is as stated continuesly by Bioware: no set release date (at all) - as far as we know, they don't even have a internal release date.

All dates are speculation, nothing more.

There are no set release dates but it will for sure be coming out before the summer hollidays (probably in asia LONG before the states and canada)

Not so. Infogrammes has made of speaking of a single worldwide release, because they want to avoid the huge market in pirated copies.

Woohoo! no more waiting for us in Australia also. :D
We tend to be forgotten sometimes, being tucked down there and all.

All over the world released at the same date,
usually, the game is released in the US and later in other parts of the world,
now they wqant to release it everywhere at the same time!

Okay that is a good thing, but does anyone know when it will be out?? Like the month or something or is there still no official dates?

Your guess is as good as mine.

With the new publishers, the official date won't be confirmed for a while.

According to someone I spoke with at Infogrammes in PR, September. The game is done. Infogrammes simply wants to wait, in part to swamp the entire world, and not leave Asia to sink beneath pirate copies.

Yeah in Asia we get tons of pirated games.
Most of them don't work, though.

Then why not realease now over the world instead of september......
(BTW anyone knows the systems requirements for NWN)?

And if you're correct fable, then wolven86 was to (in november last year) :D :D :D

A worldwide release!? Image

Oh, man! That alone is worth the wait to me! It was sooooooooooo annoying to see Throne of Bhaal released in the US ages before it finally made its way over here. It'd be ever so much worse with a multiplayer game like NWN. Talk about a free head start...

Because it times a lot of time to setup marketing strategies, especially if you really want to pirate-proof your software in Asia. I really wish I could see, now, how they plan to handle distribution, there. Perhaps they'll add on some clever keydisk scheme--so many things have been tried unsuccessfully, and a lot of money gets lost over there.

I don't think we can expect a worldwide release :( That would be very hard to realise, we have seen some good ideas from the NWN companies though, so who knows?

Actually, this is good. They are not pressed to release it, so they will do a good job of making and balancing the game. NWN will be played online mostly, so companies should take their time to avoid ruining the game *cough-anarchy online-cough-WW2 online-cough*.
i definitely agree!
