Does anyone actually know if there is a Demo available for Pool of Radiance and if so where can I get it. Or Maybe.. How big is it? So far everything in here has been pretty vague.

I think that I can help you:
No there is not a demo. There is however going to be a playable demo of the first part of the game. This will however not be till late March at the earliest.
I don't know what size it is going to be.

In a article I found a link here posted that SSI used the same engine time and time and time again. even Bioware who were new at this(The made a very bad mechworrior-like game before goin in for AD&D were they revive the type of game) make a great job in BG and improved the engine for IWD and BGII. unlike Heroes of Might and Magic that by using the same game engine whit minor changes made a comercial suicide.
Hi,
The Darksun Games used a different engine from the RAVENLOFT games. And subsequent versions were enhancements on the original. Much like Bioware did with BGI, and BGII. And some were offshoots that used the same engine much like ICEWIND DALE and PS:T...all from your lauded Bioware and Black Isle. So don't say that Bioware doesn't resuse engines because they do

Sorry just had to clear that up.
The original Pool of Radiance is also considered one the most faithful adaptations of an AD&D game. The Gold Box games were also best sellers. A little history for everyone
