12 hours apart. :D I wish I could stay up that late but most of my classes start at 8 in the morning

Yeah there is always a quiet period in SYM, I mean really quiet ones. Last time it was just me and Mah, and with his status being on Invisibilty, it seemed pretty lonely.

And I know thats different for you guys too, being in the southern hemisphere, and me in the northern hemisphere, the seasons are opposite. Ill be on vacation for another month then Im off to college, so I wont be up this late anymore. Im taking advantage of it while I can.

Well thats what Im doing on the forum. Come September, you guys will see me less, for sure, because School will come first. But I will try and stop by as much as I can in a given day. I will still be a daily visitor.

So being in Australia, Have you ever personally met Ode or Josh? I realize Australia is a big piece of land, so this isnt likely, but it could happen.

And is the weather warm or hot all the time?

Weather is cold recently, around 0 degrees celcius at night, but in summer it does go to around 40-45C, anything over and its a heat wave

Josh, lives on the other side of Australia, but me and Odie live in the same city. Seperated by a few hours drive. Damn urban sprawl

Meeting Odie this Saturday though, have to see if he is one of those predators that prowl the net. :D

Ah, so are you going to meet Georgi aswell when she goes down there? That must be pretty exciting if yes.

Wow, it gets cold down there at night. I must say that surprises me. All the pictures Ive seen of Australia are warm or hot climate. Of coarse I realize at the southern parts of Australia are closer to Antarctica, so they get a little cooler. Sounds like the temperatures over there are pretty comfortable.

I have to convince her that we have more to offer the world in music instead of just pop songs by old soapie stars. Plus we will grab (ie. kidnap) Odie into coming to a few concerts with us.

Yeah most people forget the proximity to Antartica, plus I live near the coast, so its always windy here in winter.

But when its hot, its literally hot. No soaring humidity near us, just that wonderful burning sensation. ;)

EDIT- Why look who popped in :D

If memory serves...

...at this time of the year it's getting warmer in Australia as opposed to the northern hemi. That is winter at north then summer in the south... that's why there's no such thing as a white Xmas at Oz., right?

@Tybalt: I heard you plan to change your avatar... --- DON'T, at least for awhile. It's cool as it is.

By the way, Tybalt used to be one of my Paladins' name in one of our AD&D PnP campaigns.

While you get somewhat comfortable temperatures, here in Massachusetts its a different story. In the wintertime it gets below freezing sometimes, its often around 0C (we use blasted Farenheit-so im not used to degrees celcius). In the summertime it gets hot and humid. For the last 3 days its been 95% humidity and 95F which is something like 50-60 celcius-cant remember the calculation from my chemistry class  Do you guys in Australia get any snow?

@Mah

Yep, we have our Christmas at the beach. It sounds fun, but when you are given electronic gifts (ie. games etc) Its generally the last place that you want to be. :D

I wasnt really planning to change-I was just wondering what others thought. I know you like my avatar. I will probably keep this avatar for quite a while, though I did find something else thats kind of cool. But, I agree. I like my current avatar a bit better.

I always like the names that start with Ty. Pretty cool about the AD&D fact. :D

Well I'd like my clothes where they are on the moment (on me).

*Mental note, never upset kenders, whatever they are*
