I'm not sure what Time Zone Top Web Comics is in, but I'll bet it's a different one than you're in. Of course they're known for their glitches.

Who on earth has been messing around with the ratings, not that I can remember using them in the past, but someone has been dropping a few threads down...

No one has been - there was a bug with the board whereby it displayed 5 stars no matter what the actual thread rating was...Buck fixed it along with a few other minor niggles
