well, I if noticed someone in here had lost their mini-skirt, I doubt I'd bring it to their attention.

How are you doing, Snow? Have you got any wiser regarding your career choice?

Not yet, Work is in the middle of a D&C Contract (Design and Construct for the uninitiated) for services to an Open Pit gold mine that's now going Underground.
So it's very busy at the moment, and I'd feel bad leaving at such a time. But I'll make my decision early next year when it's over.

But the my main concern was that I'd want to still have some form of employment. ie I'd rather not up and out without a steady income from somewhere (the dole's not my preference).
And places I've fished around at so far have been unwilling to commit while I have a job, and I worry that I'd leave my job to go somewhere else and they say the position was filled, now I have no job, no money.

But again the comments above do not state my "Ideal" job, only a continuation of the "same sh#t, different day" scenario. I've yet to have a career that gets my heart/mind racing (if you understand what I mean).

I suppose it's just the price I payed for committing to a line of work while I was still in Highschool that I was not really interested in.
So let that be a lesson to all the up and comers... Make sure you really, really know what you want before committing to a long term occupation.

Whoever the skirt was stolen from has to recognize it. Said victim will also be in charge of giving out the reward.

But also remember it's never too late to change your career/profession.

Sometimes it's better to spend a few years on education/building up your own business/whatever than spending another 30 years doing a kind of job one doesn't really enjoy.

Another thing to remember is that sometimes things may seem tedious, boring, and not worthwhile in the career you've chosen; but you just need to keep your eye on the goal and perservere. It is important to never give up on your dreams, no matter how impossible they may seem. It is the striving to reach the goal that's important, not reaching the goal.

Don't mean to be over dramatic about the recent death of George, but somehow it struck me negative, that I can't explain.

Like Harry Potter getting this squeashy feeling when there is the presence of Dementors, or Tasslehoff realizing that Fizban has gotten Flint.

Doing my midterms right now though I'm having trouble coming up with good items for my students' exams.

Monday is the last speech. It's a tribute/eulogy. I'll probably do mine as a tribute to Naoko Takeuchi.

I had to give a persuasive speech Wednesday. I attempted to persuade everyone that they needed to learn more languages than just their native tongue.

I'm also considering changing one of my majors.
