I would love to come stay for a while, thank you for your kind invitation.
On a more serious note, if and when I travel to America I'll look you up, I absolutely have to see your now-famous bar.

Its famous because it still isn't completed.
But, no worries, as beer is still flowing.
If you do come here, you are more than welcome to stay....Chicago isn't too bad of a place to visit.

drops in after looking in the wrong thread ...
**thud**
I need an drink, no better make that an iced drink, or even better, drinked ice. Ah, actually, just get me some ice ... it's just too HOT outside.
At least my comp is in a nice, cool room

Thanks for the offer McB, I'm not sure when I'll be travelling to the US but I do intend to see it sometime.
**Gets Mysty some ice, and an iced-down GIGGLE just in case** Heya Mysty, I noticed you in the other thread, and a voice on the wind seemed to be saying something, but then you were gone.
EDIT-Same intro and everything, huh?

Well, yes. I removed the other post after seeing that you were gone but before you posted.
Do you really want me to drink that GIGGLE?
Remember what happened to me last time
Well, I guess you're gone anyway, I was forced to go away.
Stupid dinner. WAAY too early. **shakes head**
@Georgi: I assure you Not-Lady Georgi that I'm not misguided, I just like to fool
edit:around.

I got a hug out of last time, it seemed a good deal to me.
But I'll get you something else if you want. Will an E.S.S. do?
**Starts making an E.S.S.**
EDIT-Nope, I'm still here and just as happy as ever to fool around (which is the expression you're after, though it does have *ahem* other connotations)

Oh you're not gone
E.S.S. sounds fine, just don't forget the ice, lots of it!
As for getting a hug ... *hug*, here's one for not forcing me to drink more GIGGLE and make an even bigger fool out of myself.
(though it is fun sometimes ...
)
edit: so not fool off ... takes out dictionary ...

**Fills the E.S.S. to overflowing and gives it to Mysty** Here you go.
*hug back*You made a great fool last time, truly a professional performance.
Another one that works well is 'goof off' or 'goof around', and neither one has any sexual connotations at all.

**quaffs E.S.S. in one go**
Aaahh. That's just what I needed, a big, cold drink.
Thank you, thank you, please, no applause.
It's strange how many expressions have got sexual connotations .. hm.
**looks thoughtful, eyes glazing over slowly as the E.S.S. starts to work.**

**Applauds anyway**
It is a little, isn't it? I suspect it stems from a general uncomfortableness discussing sex that most people seem to have. *shrugs* If you remeber those stupid "facts of life' talks you'll know what I mean, I had the funniest memories of my high school sex ed. classes, one guy kept going on about how his sister would "get wid guys' every weekend, and after a while the teacher just sent him out of class as sson as he opened his mouth.
Enjoying it, then?

lol
What got most on my nerves was that as a teenager you had to call every bird a birdy, even if it was a huge eagle, unless you wanted to cause hilarity, because a 'bird' was always a male sexual organ at that time.
*sigh*
Hm. I guess so. Can't really say, I'm lacking RL experience.
Never needed any alcohol to **tadam** goof off.

That sounds about right. A lot of the people at my high school thought the pinnacle of humor was shouting out "Box!" and another word (rhyming with punt that the filter would stop me posting) at each other. *sigh*
I'm very glad I'm out of high school, even if I am still a teenager.
Alcohol is never needed to be a clown, 'tis true. I find it can help though.
I far prefer more herbal remedies IRL, I'm not actually that big a drinker either. **applauds again**

You're so right about that.
**scratches head**
I think I have to broaden my culture of English 'nasty words' because I can't see what it is. Could you PM it?
disclaimer: I'm merely curious, no evil use intended
Hm, what was that applause for?
Never tried any 'herbs' and I don't think I will. First, they're 'herbs', second, the smoke drives me away from it.

Will do, but the filter will still probably get it.
I'll bet.
For the **tadam** goof off. I figured the very fact that there was a tadam merited it.
I'd recommend trying it at least once to see if it agrees with you, and so you know for yourself what it's like, but if the smoke turns you off it then maybe try it in hash cookies or something. Just don't eat too much, being too stoned is not fun, it's just weird. The 'herbs' I'm so fond of are far less physically harmful than tobacco or alcohol.
However the choice remains yours, I can merely offer my opinion on the subject.
And now I have to go to bed, so good night Mysty, and good night anyone else who visits. Dusty the bar monkey will take any orders while I'm gone.

Waaaaahhh, hothothottttt
It's so typical, each year the summer here is simply sucky weather but noo only in my examweek it's always just damn hot.
sigh.. Holland

@Ode: Nighty.
Didn't know it could be put in hash cookies. Sounds weird.
Well, it's even less harmful just not to use/drink/smoke any of them.
@Alastor: That's always that way. Exams = Heat Wave
Dusty, pour Alastor a drink.
I'm off to play P:T, so enjoy your stay.

There are always weird old hippies selling hash cakes at festivals... When I was at that festival training thing last week, the guy said that most of the heart attack calls the paramedics get are because some idiot has been eating them and doesn't think they're having any effect, so they eat lots... and then it hits them about an hour later when their heart stops
It looks like it has been quite a nice day here as well... shame I slept through most of it
I could have been sunbathing.
Sorry I disappeared earlier (got cut off)...

the mornings have been a bit lousy recetly down my way, which is fortunate for the lazy people such as myself, but the evenings are beautiful. i've been spending them reading outdoors, and i've got an extension lead rigged up to a lamp, so i can read in the garden in the middle of the night, which is really nice when the air is still and the scent of the flowers is in the air.
pity about the insects
