Yeah, Kayless lives on positive feedback.
But we need to keep him motivated so we can enjoy our favo online comic.

And, for the record, I have never called you a hippy. As for the type of monk ... well, I'm a beer-brewing monk! But I suppose that would be tough to get into a DCI comic. How about a cleric-y monk?

There were a few tavern scenes in the early days of DCI. Keep praising Kayless and you might end up as a beer-brewing monk who owns a tavern (the guys have to drink somewhere).![]()

It's getting to be hard work though. We have to butter him up here, on the "Mutants Unite" thread and also on the Top Web Comics boards. Whew!
Just a thought - if you can hire a squad of kobolds to draw your comic, maybe we can hire a squad to shower praise upon your work. Let's see how it goes...Originally posted by Kayless
You think sucking up is hard work, try doing your own web comic!![]()

I'm motivated! But if DCI gets any more popular I'm gonna run out of bandwith before the end of the month![]()

Nymphs don't come cheap, you know! Actually it's not so much the cost of the nymphs, it's the cost of the rose petals they would strew in your path wherever you walked....![]()

Perhaps you can cut down on mb's if you create a voting link in your sig so we won't need to load your site first.
That way we'll use your bandwith only to view the comic.![]()
A second cameo, eh....Originally posted by Kayless
On the next DCI: Aegis Jr. (the cross-dressing pervert gnoll) comes to avenge his father.![]()
then I don't have much to fear.Originally posted by Kayless
Hmmm, maybe I should change tactics. Henceforth anyone who calls me a hippy is denied a cameo in DCI.![]()

It's not you guys that are the problem, it's the thousands of extra people I'm getting this month. I thought I'd get 10k hits sometime in June. Now it looks like I'll get there sometime this week!![]()

Nice Kaftan, Kayless - goes well with the beads and the flowers in your hair.![]()

Heh Tybaltus is easy. Tybaltus is original and is unidentifiable to anyone who doesnt know me, and while it may shock and amaze you, I DONT really know anyone terribly famous. I know Dennis Eckersley, but I dont think ex-baseball pro's read DCI.Originally posted by Kayless
Well I put them in whenever they seem appropriate (though I don't usually plan them much ahead of time). Certain names are harder to work with than others though, so that's a factor too.
