Speaking of good looks, I've just joined the local gym in an effort to develop some muscle tone. It may have been the stupidest thing I've done in a long time...

Yes, Gyms are pretty stupid.

You can do most exercises for free just by going outside, plus, the gym is full of skanky men. My SO goes to the gym.

Actually, it was provoked by my mum forcing me to join... I do have to get back in shape though.

@Viv-Glad I'm not the only one who thinks so. I hate abdominal exercises with a passion, I've discovered. All the machines look like torture implements, too.

Just skip from machine to machine, it's not as boring

I have weights at home - that's about as close as I'll ever get to physical exercise ; that, and arm exercises. What can we get you, Viv? ** SLURRs his purple beer **

I have a sheet with a whole routine on it, but it's still far from intellectualy stimulating.
On the plus side there's a spa at the health club, so it's not all bad...
