You're right though... It's better than 56KB dialup!!!

I have a question:

What sort of groups do you all intend to form for playing. This guild accepts all characters of any alignment, but do you lot plan to good-only and evil-only parties?

@Sellsword: It is done.

Regarding alignment - I guess people will talk this over themselves when setting up an adventure.

I would have no problem going adventuring with evil as well as good or a mixture :)

I can play both ways. It will depend on what each party needs.

I wouldn't expect a Lawful Good Paladin going with a Lawful Evil Rogue.

I would think a mix would be fun. I've usually had mixed parties in the BG series.

You've done that already?

Well its nice to know that you take updating so seriously, but I removed that from the post because I'd changed my mind (I normally play good characters, but True Neutral is just so druidic).

And thats the last you'll be hearing from me for a while I'm afraid ( :( ). I'm away for the next few days visiting relatives; I may be back on Tuesday, but Wednesday is more likely. I've done all my voting, so you shouldn't need me until then and by the time I get back I'll have a biography for the site.

Keep up the momentum!

Bye!

Here is a question regarding Character creation...

I used the Char Generator downloaded from Wizards.com. Is it just me or do they not want people with high attributes? Or is a 12 considered a decent attribute??? I was torn between where I wanted to put points and am not sure I want an INT of 12 for a Sorcerer. I boosted charisma to 18 and was just about out of points.

Just curious what everyone thought about creating 3rd ed. chars. Also, how different is 3rd ed going to be that low #'s like those I have for some att's will be ok???

Well there are some tricks that I've learnt while using the generator.
Every 4th level - you get permission to increase a stat by 1. So instead of placing 18 in CHA at start (and thus spending 16 points on that) you could have taken 16 in CHA (only spending 10 points) and then at level 4 increased it to 17 and at 8 to 18 etc.
This way you would have maximed your gain from these points (If you can follow my meaning :) )

Also you can go beoynd 18 with these bonus-increases.
