Well...Wang Chung originally called themselves Huang Chung, which means concordance, or perfect music in Chinese, I think. They started in the UK in 1982 with 2 people then they got a 3rd person, but only got one minor hit, "Dance Hall Days" in the UK. So they started importing all their music to the USA, where "Dance Hall Days did chart in the US aswell. But then they featured the song, "Everybody Have Fun Tonight", which skyrocketed to number 2 in the US. That is their staple song, and many people classify them as a 1-hit wonder because of that, even if it is false, because in essence they had 3 hits, finally with the dreadful, "Lets Go" in 1986 I think. That was it for them. Still "Everybody Have Fun Tonight" is a well remembered hit, and that along with "Dance Hall Days" were very catchy tunes in the 80's and still hold a beat of their own. Not my favorite band, heck, their stuff isnt that great, but those 2 songs are worthy enough to be on my compilations.
