No problem. Just mention something if you go on holiday again, eh? :p

Okay, I need you to roll one Initiative which is 1d20+1 for you.
Then decide 5 actions such as Attack (it can be a mixture of actions if you want).
For each Attack you need to roll a to hit roll: 1d20+3 for you
And damage: 1d8+2

Finally you need to decide on the order you're attacking the 4 enemy dwarves.

Almost there.
Okay, those attack and damage rolls need to be separate rolls instead of grouping them into one like you've done. And there needs to be 5 of each.

So, something like:

Init: *insert your roll + result here*

To Hit: 1d20+3= *enter result*
Damage: 1d8+2=*enter result*

To Hit: 1d20+3= *enter result*
Damage: 1d8+2=*enter result*

To Hit: 1d20+3= *enter result*
Damage: 1d8+2=*enter result*

And two more.
Plus your attack order (which you have).

There is a term having lost your marbles when you are considered insane.

Now, for Yepi's character, his marbles are sitting in the bottom of the ocean, under thousands of water and completely hidden... :D

Lol yes marbles are gone now, digging through the earths crust below the sea. I attacked the dwarfs 'cause they were going to kill Sterwick. and he isa bit criminally insane :)

So, the dwarves said some threatening words and you threw your dice for an attack roll? :D

Your *almost* as violent as some other players I have seen. :eek: :o Have fun killing dwarves. For a minute I thought I had misread the thread and it would damage my ability to interpret future events.

The danger of a campaign progressing too slowly, maybe? :D

Okay, I've posted the combat rounds, so everyone can have a look.
Just a couple of points:
When anyone rolls a 20 on their to hit roll (not including any bonuses), roll again and post both rolls - this determines whether you have had a critical hit or a nomal hit. I rolled again as neccesary where there was a 'natural' 20.

E.g. you have a to hit roll of 1d20+3 and you get a 23(20+3). Ignoring the bonus '+3', you have a 20, this could be a critical hit, so you roll again to see if it is. I, as DM, will then calculate whether it is a normal hit or a Critical hit (where more damage is done based on the weapon you are using).

As demonstrated by my character almost being knocked unconcious, you haven't really got a list of contingencies - e.g. what to do when some situation happens like your character gets down to a 1/3 of his HP. You may want to provide a small list of actions which I'll stick in with your actions if I need to. That would probably replace the action you've specified for that round but may save your character's life.

Possible options:
  • The unconcious dwarves could be healed and asked questions if you want
  • You could look further into what happened to Sterwick, perhaps explore the details you do know about his life or ask him more questions
  • Explore Sterenear and see what adventure there is to be found.
There are plenty of options, those ae just a few possible ones, if anyone thinks of some alternative, I'm happy to support that, I just want a general agreement from everyone to do a specific thing.

Heh. D&D is supposed to always have options so killing some random person isn't generally going to ruin things, though it may affect how your character is reacted to in the game.
Soon, I will give you all XP and treasure based on your actions up to now and in the near future.

..the game thread i mean. Ok, next time would also post some contingency as suggested by Ravager. Wouldn't make sense for an unconcious cleric to make a to-hit roll :p

Well, hopefully you're not really as 'violent' in real life ;)

But in gaming/DnD sense, i think we can fit in all kind of different character in its vast world. Of course your character can also learn from experience/advice, but IMO you should still role-play it as close as how you'd really enjoyed role-playing it in the first place...just stay true to it :)

Oh, if you were knocked unconcious I could deal with that, your character would just stop doing anything. ;)
It's other situations like when someone else needs healing or a type of spell that you could reverse pops up, that kind of thing.

To answer your spell question in the game thread:
Your 1st level cleric receives 3 0-level spells (so those could be Cure Minor Wounds), 1 first level (plus another because of your Wisdom) and a domain spell from Good (1st level) or Healing. ANY of your normal spells (not including domain, though your Healing Domain has those spells) can be swapped out whenever you want for a healing spell of that level.
Normally, as you can swap out spells for healing it's a good idea not to memorise any healing spells, you can get those at a moment's notice (you just choose which memorised spell you're replacing).
Other people can use the Heal skill to stabilise any dying person though it won't be as good as a healing spell. For people using those skills roll a 1d20 plus any bonus if you've put any points into the skill.
