Well that is something we need to scout ingame.
Looking at the descriptions on the map of Argyle, I'd say either Arberdan, Soberdan, Shroudgard.
The first will most likely be the best location, but also the smallest of the 3.
The second is (at gamestart) an "outlaw" city, if I read corretly, but on the other hand, the biggest.
The last is a big city, but located on the north, in dangerous territory.
But I say that is something we can find out when we are in-game.
Gods In Argyle
I still think Port Hope would be a good place to start. I think many other people will want to start in the big cities, and Port Hope is small, out of the way, and built on ruins, which should make for abundant adventuring. However, I also made my character from Port Hope, so I'm a bit biased!
I'd like to start somewhere out of the way and build up a power base for the BotB. If not, my choice would be Shroudgard. It sounds interesting enough. Both are close to The Harbor, though, and we could be close to conflict with the evil there. *rubs hands together eagerly*

Heh, how would you know what Ranger/Bards like? Are you a Ranger/Bard?Originally posted by Nippy:
Right OK Craig, I don't think a Ranger/Bard would like that and I'm sure that Argyle might not be able to get it too look like that.
And who knows? Maybe you really can dress in black, wear a big cloak and wield a big scythe... And I'm pretty sure helmets can be made that look like skulls.
