Can you please open the console and post the last lines here that it contains? Also do you use some other mods with the patch?

Hm, shouldn't it be "You've suffered Final Death."? I will change it to this, as this is also how it is written in other popups already in the game...rudiger24 wrote:One more little grammatical error: the death animation sequence says "You've suffered a Final Death." It should say "You've suffered the Final Death."
Although the crossbow is very silent, it's not completely silent and can be heard if NPCs are near enough. I will change the description to: "Fires quite silently".Also, the crossbow's description states that it "fires silently," but VV scolded me for making too much noise after I used it once in the Hot Stripper quest. (I didn't use any other guns.)

Damsel has no dialogue for that occassion, but Jack has some indeed. Still I can't find any issues there and it's easy to miss because when you tell LaCroix about it, he has new answers already.Polybius wrote:When you return from Grouts mansion there should be unique dialogues with Jack, Damsel and the black brujah guy that gives mission to dispose of Patty concerning what you saw there (Nines), however, these only appeared for the brujah guy, none for Damsel or Jack.
Hi, I'd like to investigate Jack dialog, and track this bug if possible.Polybius wrote:When you return from Grouts mansion there should be unique dialogues with Jack, Damsel and the black brujah guy that gives mission to dispose of Patty concerning what you saw there (Nines), homever, these only appeared for the brujah guy, none for Damsel or Jack.
Just a little correction here Wesp, about Damsel.(and info for the players, since it's not in U.P. changelog)Wesp5 wrote:Damsel has no dialogue for that occassion, but Jack has some indeed. Only way I know how to skip his questions about Malkavian primogen is if I tell him that I'm going to Hollywood Hills, and when he ask me why I say "It's top secret." - then he gets pissed off and skips that story lines part when I return after visiting the mansion...
Do you have any details from your playthrough that could be relevant to help?(did you talk with Skelter first after mansion, have you talk with Jack at all in downtown before seeking Grout, is he pissed off at you for some reason?,..) Thanks.![]()
Just a little correction here Wesp, about Damsel.(and info for the players, since it's not in U.P. changelog)Since newest U.P. (v8.7), Damsel dialog has several restored lines that weren't accessible in vanilla game. Now she can be asked about Nines both before and after visiting the mansion, and her responses are different, depending of player Malk mansion quest state.
Probably this was the problem, if you refuse to give him some informations or act rude he may act distant or refuse to talk.Polybius wrote:I have talked to Jack before doing the Graut's mansion mission, I took the "I can't tell you that" option which ended the dialogue, but I was able to talk to him again and this time I chose to tell him everything. That may be the cause of him not talking to me after returning from Graut's mansion.
*possible spoilers* I remember Damsel raging how "anarchs told the prince that Nines didn't do it" when the prince proposes alliance with anarchs before Griffith Park? And not right after I've seen Nines. She was always "neutral" for me on dialog start when I talk to her after returning from Malk Mansion.Polybius wrote:Also, When I talked to prince and returned to Damsel, she usually rages pretty hard about me telling the prince that I saw nines leaving the scene, yet this time all that she can say is "Heard anything?" with no options of dialogue from me.
So the Jack cause may be explained, but why Damsel have none special dialogues before Grout's and after it?

Like I said in my previous post, in v8.7 Wesp5 restored her lines - after Malk mansion, ask her a question about Nines, then tell her that he is guilty... She will freak out, but I doubt that you were referring to this line.![]()
Mhm, thats because you made a deal with her to go anarch yourself. Now you can talk with her about your findings as anarch spy or talk about quests. Questions about other stuff (Nines, LaCroix, Jack, Anarchs & Camarilla) are unavailable.Polybius wrote:I can't tell her anything, she's stuck on "Heard anything?" and all I can do is end the dialogue.

If you don't turn anarch after plague quests(or postpone Damsel dialog about finishing plague quest until after malk mansion), you will have more dialog options with her.![]()
If we would find a way to do something like that we wouldPolybius wrote:
Lasombra fight is nicely done, but he could do something more than teleporting and shooting. Like summoning some shadow rape tentacles or something.
Hiya, not just second part, all four parts of Mitnick's "A Tangled Web" quests are located in HW quest log. It's because game counts it as a single quest, it is in hollywood quests file. I'm not sure can it be spread to all four game quest files as a single quest, but..Polybius wrote:The second part of quest The tangled web is in downtown, yet it is displayed in the Hollywood section of quests.
That is correct. You need a bit higher humanity(5 or more) to be able to dig up his dirt.Polybius wrote:...I suspect it's because I have 3 humanity, there is no "Something the matter" option in dialogue which unlocks further options.
