O.K I have thought of a question that has been bothering me for a long time now.Whay do women use the word "Cute' To describe almost evrything...I remember going to the mall w/My mom and My little sister,(childhood)and all would here was,"OH!This is so cute!" Or "Tis would look so cute on you!"I got really tired of it and It made me want to just scream and yell and trammple all over the place like a 3 year old!
No clue, I refer to most of my female friends as "cutie" though and call them on it when they are being cute so I do the same thing. Some of them get annoyed, most of them happen to like being recognized for being cute though.

Women = your mom and your baby sister? Parents often say things would be cute on their children (girls or boys) because they want their children to look cute.

I have never noticed any gender related frequency difference in use of the word "cute". It is usually related to age and type of relationship (parent-children or very young people when they talk about people they fancy).

I've got another question, my close friend had a discussion with me last night and said the strangest thing. Sweet, but seemed odd to me. She mentioned that she loved her boyfriend dearly and has no intentions of changing her relationship with him. She also however said "You're my sunshine, and no matter how much I love my bf, you're the person that I know truly cares and makes me happy when I'm sad and can make me laugh no matter what. I wish my bf were more like you in almost every way."

So, what gives with that? I mean, it's wonderful to hear but, really doesn't that mean she's essentially cares more for me than her boyfriend? I don't get it at all.

Well I can think of only two things,

1.She is trying to tell you that she loves you(in a way)

or

2.She is explaining to you that you are her best friend and has either a really big crush on you or that she looks at you as more that a Friend...

Many of my Friends have experiences like/simmilar to that.

We both remind each other we're each other's best friends and that we happen to love the other dearly for it. So I can see she just wanted to be more descriptive in that. I just don't get how she can love her boyfriend more than me and yet still claim that almost everything he does she appreciates how I do the same things more and I do them better on top of that. Every girl I've fallen for becomes my best friend. I share everything and appreciate how they respond to it, or it doesn't work out. So that's confusing to no end hearing that one last night.

I think I will, moreso for curiousity sake than anything. I've never gotten the impression she's been hitting on me, or wanting more than a friendship and she's done her best to set me up with other people even when her and her boyfriend were seperated and I was single. She's one of the few people I can get away with flirting with and not worry about it being taken as more than just playing around as well. So I don't know, that made me wonder last night how that all works out. Her boyfriend makes cracks though as to which of us is really her boyfriend. :p

Well, I had this converstation with my best friend, actually the one my post above this one is about, odd that. Anyways, last night she had some friends over and was talking to me online while chatting with them. They got curious why she was laughing and said she was talking to me, they wanted to know who I was and she told them. Apparently, these are girls I went to school with years ago that I don't remember who are my age, my friend did too, but was younger so I had never met her until recently when I had graduated through a mutual friend.

Anyways, the girls surprisingly recognized my name, and proceed to inform my friend that they both had a crush on me in 1st and 2nd grade. They babbled on about how cute I was and blah blah blah. I couldn't for the life of me place their names to any faces and remember who they were. I was 6-7 years old, girls had cooties and used to throw rocks at us guys during recess for fun! I wasn't cute, I was a trouble maker. I irritated my teachers even then, I constantly corrected them. I always finished my work early and cracked jokes and interrupted class from sheer boredom. So, now I have my friend wanting me to meet these two women I cannot remember for the life of me, who apparently had a crush on me when I was 7.

How, yes, different type of quesion now. How is it that these girls happen to remember that far back, and what on earth possessed them to develop a crush on someone at the age of 7?!

I didn't bother with girls really until I was 16 or so. I mean, I had a sort of crush on my neighbor when I was little, but we did everything together. I just really loved spending time with her. These girls thought found me adorable and had a crush on me just from seeing me in class at that age. I don't get how that works, especially them remembering me after my having moved away when I was 10.

You'll soon be :D

My question is:
Why do I (= probably the most impatient person on Earth) have to wait for 8 weeks for something that others normally get in 3 weeks?

@Mag: seems to me that this girl is in love with you...

@Brynn how can you judge 'love' by someone elses description of their relationship? I think it's more like she's just a good friend and Margus is wanting more than that but too shy about saying anything.

@Oozae your nearly 14 and not interested in girls???? What's wrong with you kiddo, unless your gay and in that case why aint you interested in boys??? Mate I was the unofficial male school bike at 14, (not sex wise but used and left a fair few girls) and while it wa fun at the time and taught me a fair bit about women I'm glad I've calmed down now, (sort of) get yourself out there and sow those oats kid!

Nope, the comments from her and her boyfriend just made me wonder whether I need to worry about our friendship going somewhere else. All of our friends know each other and we sort of have a really close friendship and share things the others don't know about, been through a lot, blah blah blah blah. Now I've been getting bombed with "I love you" and how wonderful I am. So, made me curious.

Ah, let him be. Girls cause stress. Let him have a few more years before his hormones take over and cause horribly naughty thoughts for the rest of his life. :p

Magrus girls remember the most sentimental of things. An old girlfriend (mind you most of my relationships have always turned into long distance because i move so much) of mine remembered i had asked 7 months before she visited me that i wanted some of her baby pictures. Now I can't remember stuff i did one month earlier and she remembered something for 7 months.

Girls are freaky like that. They remember stuff most of us, or me specifically would just glance over. So if they want to meet - you do so. It won't be bad, if it is you don't have to meet them again.

Btw you can have a platonic relationship with a girl and her being close and you not sexually interested in her. Same happens with women. Wait it happens more often with women then men :D

My memory used to be near perfect, now it's just trash so it doesn't surprise me I don't remember them from that long ago. As for those two girls, curiousity has gotten the best of me. I'll have to tell her to get her friends out to me and we can hang out or something. I've changed a lot from back then, from size all the way down to hair and eye color. They won't at all recognize me. Should be amusing at the least. :D

I've also got a few very close female friends. My only worry is I'm missing something from my now closest female friend in all the affection she's showing. Normally I can pick up on that, but she's just as much of a flirt and a tease as I am. Given her comments it's made me wonder, then again she's outgoing enough to tell me I do believe either way if she really felt the need.
