Valygar and Kivan are nice choices and dialogues with Edwin are SO funny... And, of course, romancing that dark elf can be very interesting, too, although this option would be available only late in the game.
Here are some suggestions...
1) May be this idea won't be popular, but still... I believe that possibilities of romances should depend on PC's charisma (natural charisma, not that one gained with Blade of Roses, Ring of Human influence, etc.!) Without a question, this will make the whole situation more difficult, since we should sacrifice something else from the stats for higher CHA, but this is more fair... I mean, NPC's shouldn't go romancing every woman only because she is PC.
2) Could every romance involve some quest/quests? Not only dialogues, but some situations that need PC's intervention (there could be a lot of possibilities - f.e. - somebody could even save PC's life - we used to save all those people around us and to hear their thanks afterwards, so may be it is time to thank someone ourselves - well, this is only one idea, and there can be millions of them).
