@fable-Well then, I suppose age isn't really a major cause of our apparent suckage(?) in those type of games :)

Problem solving RPGs (like Myst only I haven't played it before). I usually get too frustrated those stupid puzzles to continue.

Flight sims: I echo Robnarks views.

Nope. :) I always prefer to take my time in any game, and examine everything I can just to enjoy all the detail. I manage pretty well, for instance, in Morrowind, because I got all of that curiosity out of my system early in gameplay, and now enjoy the simple pleasures of walloping the daylights out of an adversary.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

Since you don't specify PC gome or console game, I sucked huge on "Mario" games. I just hate those Plumbers games (dunno why....) and the way it played that I hardly want to get a grip to familiarise the game play.

As for "The Sim" games, I got bored easily. Quoting from fable (it sounds like this IIRC) :"once you got hang of the equation the game got no challenge"

new genre of M&M (after the World of Xeen) : too complex quest, gameplay feels awkward than original one. :(

FPS shooter : not interested to it nowadays. Yet I play Doom2 like a God in the old days

Flight Sim games : The fall of Origin Systems break my heart, the last game I played is WC Phropecy & its expansion

Racing games or any tihng like it i.e GTA etc : why do I need game when I crank my machine in high speed almost everyday ? :D

Puzzle games : Not quite challenging and got less variation than RPG or RTS games
I'm not dead yet :D :p
