Hmm, on second thought, I'd go with the opposite of Flesh to Stone (Stone to Flesh). I'd go to France and bring all the gargoyles to life. Conjure an army of cool sculptures to conquer the world!

I thought the same thing as sigurd (I won't let it happen again, sigurd). For those casting gate, you only get one spell, so you don't get Prot. from evil. Doh!

Prot from Normal Weapons would be nice. Think of all the help you could be to law enforcement!

Cloak of Fear would be fun. Great self defense, too.

Confusion could really help your grades, if used properly and if your teacher uses the (idiotic, IMHO) bell curve.

However, I have to agree with Jennabard. I'd choose teleport or dimension door. It'd just be cool, and has too many uses to mention.

Well,it's not exactly a spell but it IS present in BG2 and many other games...I'm talking about the allmightyest-nondefeatable-most uberpowered spell of all times : QUICKLOAD

Just imagine,you re finally out on a date with that special girl and...something goes wrong as usual,well NO PROBLEM,just quickload and try it again well,if you remembered to quicksave earlier that is

Now seriously,from all the normal spells I'd choose Black Blade of Disaster,something's just c0ol about a big dark sword that can make anything disappear forever with just a touch,another choice would be Emotion:Hoplesness for some fun with my neighbors,or Remove/Resist Fear,just imagine the things we'd be able to accomplish if only we were not so afraid

yes too bad that "quickload and save" not is a spell I kind of liked the idea.

it would have many uses here is one:

*Garcia goes to a bar....*
*Garcia sees hot babe with C-cup....*

*Garica auto saves*

*Garcia makes his move (pickup line)...* "Sooo hot mama you were great in Baywatch yesterday!"
SLAM! C-cup girl slaps Garcia and says:"Men! They are so insensitive!"

*Garcia quick loads*

Garcia sees hot babe with C-cup*
"Say do you have a mirror in your pocket?"
Hot babe: "Why?"
Garcia:"beacause I sure can see myself in your pants"
SLAM! C-cup girl slaps Garcia and says: that is the most unromantic crap I have ever heard!"

*Garcia quick loads*

*Garcia sees hot babe with c-cup*
Garcia did his homework and now says with a bad imitation of a roger moor voice: "I say...no wonder that the weather is so grey today all the blue is in your eyes darling"
C-cup girl: "ohhh you are so much man, come to me!"

Yes no matter how bad you might suck at things you always have unlimited chances with "quickload"

I see great potential

It would come in handy a lot of places - when entering a lotto-cupon.

*Autosave*
*Fill out cupon - and enter it*
*Watch drawing*
*Quick Load*
*Make a new Cupon with the winning numbers - and enter it in the competion*

quick load /save "spell" is something for Manveru (so it is my new vote - timestop is not as good as this one)

I just knew someone would find a new wicked use for the "quicksave spell" soooo,I'm presenting you with an even mightier version...the allpowerfull "ARCHIVE SAVE SPELL"Example...you think: "Hmm AD&D is really great...wish I'd thought of that,oh,wait...(you remember you have an archive save before AD&D was invented)...you load up your archive save,invent AD&D before that other guy,and make a LOT of money

Just think of the possibilities...oh no,ANOTHER great topic just got spammed,damn

Uhh.. for once I understand Valygar when he says he *hates* magic... With people as crazy us you out there.. I think i would choose some spell protection magic

Wouldn´t like to be turned to a squirrel or something.. although I´m sure it would be a nice experience

Agree with Petri here. If you can choose one spell, then somebody else can probably use it too. That is when it stops getting fun and you have to get all the offensive spells.
