Well i learnt to play from a chinese friend of mine who was semi-pro when in Hong Kong. Of course for the under 18 years league. I still suck but there are some days where i get the weirdest shots. I have gotten 3 balls in in a fluke. I am getting better though.

Chess i love. Being playing since i was a kid. Sadly last week BS beat me :(

Lemme show you.

These are traditionals:

This is a compund bow:

And this *insertd heart-shaped icon here* is an olympic recurve bow:

(Without all the usualy gadgets, mind you :p This is pretty bare compared to how you would use it for shooting).

Of course, there are "heavier" and "ligther" in that they're harder or easier to pull. This is what we call poundage: the draw weight (how hard it is to pull) is given in pound. For women 30-38lbs is average, for men it's 36-46lbs.

They vary in length, too (the risers are available in different lengths with a 2" difference, and the limbs can be bought in medium, small and long sizes, all have a great effect on the draw weight, of course).

@Jopperm: oh :D Well, it was ArcheryOutdoors, I suppose? They're mainly hunters there, but quite a nice company anyway. There's archery-forum.com, too, where my username is Nalia, more recurve fans there ;)
oops, I thought he meant arrow... Darnit, I'm tired of getting arrow and bow confused  :(

If you can play three chords, you're a guitarist in my book. :D

I'm not sure, but would that count as spam?

I wouldn't be too worried, it pertains to the topic. one of the SYM mods will call it if they think it's too spammy. Mah is online.

I almost forgot my biggest hobby. Pen and Paper RPGs!

Actually, I hadn't even noticed the "no spam" tag, but what exactly would the point be of a topic like this if you weren't allowed to actually discuss people's answers? Besides which, since I was referring to the subject, it's not spam. So there. :p
I can do that! I used to play a mean Smells Like Teen Spirit in my day.
Heh, it can't be that pretend then. ;) You should try the White Stripes, even I can play their stuff. G G G G C C C C D D D D G G G G :D

Not even sex?
These days i spend reading and well doing or understanding International politics. I spend 3 hours reading the news daily. If you can call that a hobby.
Same here. I used to do classical ballet and alpine climbing. I played the piano at concert pianist level. I used to do salsa, tango nuevo, paragliding, flying. I used to paint, draw, write poetry and do horseriding. Nowadays I have little time for anything else than examining, reading and writing about brains. My main hobbies are travelling, kayaking, photographing, listening to music and discuss science, arts and politics with my friends. Ah, I watch football (real football, like Champions League, not the fake type when they use their hands and a lot of whimpy body protection) and play D2 as well.

The lady did have a fine ass. It one th blue ribbon at the fair that year. of course, it doesn't surprise me you'd take that in a revolting way, but it was a innocent observation. :D
